Godenfang Restaurant Walvis Bay — Restaurant in Erongo Region

If you have a stopover in Walvis Bay, this restaurant is a must. Most likely the best food I had in Namibia. Brilliant homie cozy vibe with a lovely ambiance. Felt like a local eating there every evening whilst in Walvis Bay.

Be sure to make a reservation as it gets crowded quite fast! The calamari and garlic prawns are likely the best I’ve ever had and the chicken tacos were a delight!

There is enough parking across the street and a good bunch of board games and books in the book shelf :)

P.S. Despite being a dog person myself, gotta admit the restaurant home cats are adorable. A bit of Garfield vibe...

What ever you do in Walvis Bay, this restaurant have to be on your list. The people are really nice, the service is perfect an when you think that it can't be better than you will see that the food is exquisite. My wife had fish and I ordered the pot. And both war fantastic. GODENFANG !The Staff is AMAZING! I loved every minute being here! The atmosphere was amazing , we sat outside with blankets by a fire and had dinner! The food was incredible! We ordered appetizers dinner and desert! The chefs did such amazing job with all the food! Well prepared! Our server whose name is Lahja was absolutely amazing , she was incredibly kind , intelligent, and very thoughtful ,she had a wonderful personality and exceeded our expectations!
