Hotel Crown Plaza -Naxal — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Hotel Crown Plaza - and 2 nights definitely wasn’t long enough! We were so impressed with the hotel and the staff for a number of reasons. Firstly, the hotel offers free airport pickup which I would definitely recommend as the airport can be a bit overwhelming when leaving. When we arrived out check in was smooth and the porters were really helpful with our luggage. The hotel is in an excellent location as it’s extremely well centered in Naxal. The rooms were really clean and we received 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water per day. We also had clean towels and bed sheets each day.

Taxis are always available out the back of the hotel which makes it a lot easier and you can barter with them to get a cheaper price. We also did 3 hour walking tour with a company called Budget Trekking, the hotel manager recommend us this agency (and a tour that is definitely worth doing to see the real Kathmandu!)

The hotel is in a great location with a great mix of bars and restaurants . We were able to watch the football in their Bar, and we also meet some of Nepali football players there.

All in all we were extremely pleased with our stay at the Hotel Crown Plaza and would highly recommend this hotel for an easy, clean and relaxing stay...

I would like to suggest it's complete a corporate hotel there service is excellent 10 out of 10 very helpful staff even they will offer food apart from menu as per you suggested room rates are genuine compare to Kathmandu city you are near to everything in Kathmandu thamel us nearby pashupatinath temple is at walking distance a beautiful Kamal pokhari park is there you can get shopping malls bar is open 24 hour parking & garden facility is just Fabolous you won't get a spacious parking in ktm like crown plaza even Director dai is very much helpful out of everything you need they accept upi international payment they have a comfortable lobby specially when you visit durgesh is helpful I would say if you are looking for a peaceful stay must visit crown plaza everything is at your walking distance thamel night life club platinum lods 50th world best club is at walking distance...

I stayed there for a night. Left my luggages there for a couple nights and I came back to crown Plaza again for another 2 nights.||The service from all the hotel staff are wonderful. They are very warm, helpful and welcoming.||The first night I was given a room at a wing where they were doing some renovation. It was noisy, plus also our room is right next to elevator. Also adds to the noise||Then the other 2 nights we were given on the other wing where there is a no renovation but behind the hotel is I believe a casino. There was some concert going on. Kinda of noisy too.||The hotel itself is old and really needs a revamp. It is clean but very old.||Location wise is not walking distance to restaurants so u need to go by car.||Breakfast is great. So overall I give it a 3/5 for...
