Haopin Hotpot — Restaurant in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

First and foremost, the food "hotpot" is super duper good. Tried hotspot in many countries like Hongkong, Singapore n at local restaurants back here. I didn't like the food then, but for the sake of other family members, I had to have it. Then one day, my wife told me that this restaurant serves the best hotspot which is located just a minute or two minutes walking distance from my home. She insisted that we should go there n try this hotspot. It wasn't my type of taste, but still, I couldn't say no n planned to go soon. Soon, one day I had to have lunch with my friend for some reason outside n suddenly this idea of hotspot buzzed on my head. Went there with my two friends n ordered it. I asked him to help me with cooking it n make me a spicy sauce which compliments with the hotpot. God! after it was served on a plate with the help of the staff, it tasted so good that it out the tasted the rest of the restaurants during travel. Since then, I've been a regular customer taking friend n families. The location is also at a posh area with parking available for limited, number of cars. So after the lockdown n normalcy of corona, one must go there n try these hotspot. I bet that the food is worth every penny you spend on it. It's the best for...

Haopin Hotpot , very authentic chinese restaurant , I was amaze to see all the fresh ingredients the use to cook , if you come with your friends and family you must try the HOTPOT here !!! I kipping coming back , multiple lunch , multiple dinner , I try lots of dish from the menu' cart , very happy with all my orders!!! Order also the HOTPOT with a very good friend of me , very happy about the choice and the experience!!! The real Chinese Food , BEST RESTAURANT so far in Kathmandu, nothing to compare with other chinese restaurant that I try in Tamel and in Naxal area , I 'm real enjoy good food and good drink , very please to found this restaurant , I real enjoy my lunches and my dinners !!!! Night time the restaurant is very busy and very cozy , lunch time you can also enjoy the garden , very ideal place for groups of friends, family's , couple or even alone when you fill like a big plate of real nice spare ribs ,restaurant staff very professional and very friendly , they real know how to welcome you.....I recommended this restaurant 1000% ...thank you Haopin , I would come back soon to Nepal and for shore back to Haopin...

--- Delicious food but HORRIBLE service. On a Thursday morning, we had a party of 12 and received just one menu even though we were the only diners there. I requested more, and we got one more and then a third one. We did not do hotpot and were given these tiny plates. When asked for bigger plates they go oh not sure if we can accommodate 12 bigger plates. A restaurant that is not able to provide us dinner plate, this should be news by itself.

--- The worst part of the food delivery system was that they brought the rice after we had practically finished eating three separate dishes. When we asked about the soup an hour later, we were told that it was on the hotpot menu and that they couldn't serve it to us. Why not offer us a choice or mention it while accepting our order?

--- We got the food in 3 batches, just a big NO NO for any restaurants.
