"Significant Issues with Cleanliness, Odor, and Pricing Transparency" We experienced a highly unsatisfactory two-day stay that did not justify the high room rate charged. The primary concerns revolved around basic hygiene and guest amenities. • Cleanliness/Odor: The room had a strong, persistent musty odor, suggestive of pest issues (roaches). Furthermore, the toilet seat cover was heavily discolored and yellowed, indicating a severe lack of proper cleaning and maintenance. • Pricing Transparency: The hotel did not provide a menu or rate card for food services. When questioned, staff offered no satisfactory explanation, simply justifying the price as commensurate with "local rates." Transparency in pricing is a fundamental expectation that this hotel failed to meet. We actually stayed here twice, once upon our arrival to Nepal and again when we were leaving. There are two parts to the hotel and both are very different. The first part to the left has more modest rooms that seem a bit older. The second time we were in the main building which seemed like a completely different hotel. The rooms were larger, cleaner and more modern. The beds in the rooms were amazing! The internet worked fairly well in the main building but not so good in the adjacent building. The meals in the restaurant were great! Really nice breakfasts and great local food served there. As far as location, the hotel seems really close to the airport but maybe not so close to the main sites you'll want to see...
