Hotel Chautari Nagarkot — Hotel in Mandandeupur

We stayed in a balcony mountain view room in the new building and it was amazing! The reception team (along with the managing director Mr. Badri Prasad Maka) gave us a very warm welcome, helped us to our room, personally arranged our phones with Wifi and made sure we knew how we could access assistance if needed and when the dining room would be open throughout our stay. The room was immaculately clean, very comfortable U.S. quality mattress and bedding, refrigerator and electric kettle with tea and coffee (Nescafe, but its Nepal!), the bathroom was well equip with toiletries and the shower was amazing with a huge ceiling mount shower head that had tons of hot water with great water pressure (best in all of our world travels actually!). The mountain views from here are awesome and we were blessed with clear weather to see it all! The hotel is located in a great secluded area but also easily accessible to walk into town. However, cleanliness could be improved, as I noticed several hairs from previous occupant on the bed. Also, while the food is good, the overall price feels a bit high considering the room quality. Currently, the main building is under construction, which might impact the overall ambiance.
