Goldenbirds Homestay — Hotel in Pokhara

We stayed here for 2 weeks whilst volunteering and teaching English at a local school. Dharma and his family epitomise the Nepalese kindness and helpfulness, nothing was too much trouble. ||We love the local area and the dog Micky. We always felt very safe in the area and in our room on the roof. Our room in particular had an en-suite and hot water whenever the sun shined (and for a day or 2 after it had stopped shining depending on usage). ||Shanti and her sons cooked delicious food for us each morning and evening and it was a real treat when they taught us to make momos!!||Fast WIFI was always available and drinking water freely provided. ||A wonderful family- We do hope to...
