I have to admit that staying at Bar Peepal Resort was one of the most remarkable experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. From the very moment I arrived until my departure, every aspect of my stay was seamless and enjoyable, thanks to the beautiful property and the exceptional team constantly at work.

The property itself is stunning, with comfortable and spacious rooms, great amenities, and a serene ambience that made me feel completely at ease. The view from the roof top infinity swimming pool is stunning. The attention to cleanliness was impeccable.

A special shoutout to Ms Bhawana and Ms Rashmita at the front desk who always greeted with a warm smile, and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Their professionalism and friendly demeanour made me feel instantly at home. Also Ms Bhawana’s recommendations on places to see, chill at and visit were right on point. The hospitality and warmth shown by them was truly exceptional.

I’m grateful to their concierge team (esp Mr Shanker & Ms Rashmita) for constantly coordinating with the airport authorities so as to ascertain the revised time of departure of my flight, as Pokhara Airport was closed that morning due to bad weather. The hotel was kind enough to have its van drop me off at the Airport as it was extremely difficult to find a private cab because of bad weather.

Finally, I’d like to acknowledge the sincere and kind efforts of Ms. Prateeksha and Mr. Buddha from the restaurant team. Their attentive service and kind attitude made breakfast and dining at Bar Peepal a memorable experience.

The entire team at Bar Peepal Resort deserves recognition for their dedication to guest satisfaction. It’s rare to encounter such personalized and heartfelt service, and I’m incredibly grateful for the effort they put into making my stay extraordinary.

"Luxury with a Lake View – located at Pokhara!"

Bar Peepal Resort exceeded all expectations! Perched on a peaceful hill above Lakeside, it offers stunning panoramic views of Phewa Lake and the surrounding mountains. The infinity pool is an absolute highlight – a perfect spot to relax and soak in the serenity.

The rooms are beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean with not a modern style and traditional designs. The bed was comfortable, and we especially loved waking up to the view from the balcony. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help – their hospitality made the stay even more special.

The breakfast buffet was average standard, with a good mix of local and international options but no choices under the buffet. Though it’s just a minimum walk down to Lakeside for visit, the peacefulness of the location makes it feel like a world away from the crowds.

Staff & Service: Friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Cleanliness & Facilities: Spotless rooms and well‑maintained amenities. Location & Views: Perched on a hill with panoramic views of Phewa Lake and Peace Pagoda, yet still walkable to Lakeside in about 20 minutes.

Minor Complaints: Physical Layout: The resort is on a slope with no elevator, so stairs can be a challenge for guests with mobility issues. We do not recommed for elderly people and relevant people. Occasional Room/Facility Quirks: A few isolated comments on minor drain issues, water pressure, and bathroom supplies, but staff typically resolved them swiftly .

We really like the style of Bar Peepal Resort Pokhara. The architecture combines European style with local Nepalese and Tibetan styles, giving people a sense of respect for multiple cultures. The energy here is very good, and the high vantage point offers a bird's eye view of most of Pokhara city and Phewa Lake. We felt very relaxed as soon as we walked in. The scenery is very beautiful (we often saw eagles and crows flying around). The service staff who work here also seem to like this place very much, so the quality of service is very good. They often anticipate our needs in advance (for example, when our whole family was playing in the swimming pool, they would take the initiative to help us take pictures of our family playing in the water). We were very touched!

Our guide, Lil, was waiting for us at Bar Peepal Resort Pokhara early in the morning and boarded our chartered vehicle. He was incredibly friendly and professional, and took excellent care of our two children along the way. We loved his climbing pace, and when we needed a break, he offered helpful suggestions for suitable resting spots. Climbing with him was incredibly enjoyable! If I have the opportunity to climb Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) next time, I'd definitely hire him to take us there.
