Hotel Westwood — Hotel in Ratnanagar

Westwood is a good hotel to book an allinclusive tour trough Chitwan.The rooms are clean, the guides are trained proper and the food is good. There is a small difference between the guides. two of them are really good and one of them was cranky all five days i spent there. If you make a booking i personally would recommand you to ask for guide Tharuk. He was the best guide i had trough my 4 month travel trough Nepal.||If you intend to stay more then 3 days in Westwood I personally shouldnt go to the buffet because they repeat their menu every 3 days so it gets kinda boring.||Another important thing to do is book directly at Westwood! Don't book tours trough traveling agencys in Nepal. If you book directly in Chitwan at any hotel you can save up to 30/50 dollars a person. And the hotels provide all the trips you can do in the area. When you make a booking inform about other people who booked for that period because you share alot of activities. Me and a couple from signapore were lucky we booked between two big groups of Chinese. Because we were a small group we gain alot of privilages like personal elephants while riding, private cars and they put us in front of all the tourist lines.||||If you go to Westwood dont expect to meet alot of other travelers. most of the people travel in big groups and the bar is really poor so most of them hide in their rooms during...

Our stay here in Hotel Westwood in Chitwan was a bit accidental. Actually we have booking in Gorkha Hamlet Resort just opposite to this one but that resort was over crowded and they arranged our stay here. It came like a blessing in disguise for us as the Hotel Westwood was far better than the previous one. The rooms are very spacious, Bathrooms are luxurious and the lawn was very beautiful crafted with designs and decorated with lights. The hotel has an antique Rajasthani Haveli look and the location is in the centre of the town. Also the Tharu Dance theatre was very near to the hotel. We haven't took food here as it was arranged in Gorkha Hamlet Resort. Overall, our stay was quite enjoyable here and I recommend this hotel for cozy and quiet...

Was there in March 2018. Terrible hotel. I don't understand other people who say how good it is. The rooms are very dirty and look so disgusting, conditioning is bad... Everything is so old, outdated and cries for replacement. We with my girlfriend tried to change the room, but the 2nd room looked exactly the same like the 1st one. Seems like their cleaners don't care at all, and the manager just closes his eyes... Hotel stuff is incompetent I must admit. Just don't want to go deeper and write too much. I, my girlfriend and our guide were the only people there. Well, I understand why. This review is more like a precaution for everyone who wants to go to Chitwan and considers Westwood hotel.
