I stayed at hotel Orchid for about a week with my mother, when the hotel was just opening. The owner Jitu was very service minded in a warm and personal manor. He helped us organise our daily trips, and we dined with Jitu and his family a few evenings. He supports equal rights, and the protection of nature and wildlife and is definitely a key person i the development of Chitwan. Apart from the interesting and friendly host, the rooms are of good quality compared to price. Its at the end of the main street wish means you are away from most of the noise, but in walking distance to everything you need. I would recommend staying if you are visiting Chitwan...

The building, rooms and grounds were all exceptionally well laid out and maintained and the owner, his wife and staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, going out of their way to make my stay as pleasant and trouble free as possible.||I plan to revisit the area again next year and will be staying at the Orchid again.
