Bed and Bike Haarlem nr1 — Hotel in Haarlem

After 3 weeks touring Holland, Belgium and France, we look back at our stay at Bed and Bike Haarlem in late September as the very best. The apartment was beyond our expectation, the host, Els, was immensely kind and helpful, and the location was perfect.

Our hosts spared no detail in turning this spacious and bright apartment into a comfortable place to be, with a well-stocked kitchen, large bathroom, comfy bed and lovely decor throughout.

We appreciated the friendliness and kindness of our host, who picked us up from the train station upon our arrival. Els was a great communicator and showed us around the space and explained how to use the e-bikes she provided for our use. She went above and beyond by giving us a ride to our bike rental company when it was raining at the end of our stay.

We loved the location right near the river. It was an easy walk to the heart of the city or a river tour. The electric bikes put this place over the top. We wandered happily around exploring parts of the city we would only have seen on a bicycle and enjoying the experience of riding with everyone else.
