We absolutely enjoyed our stay here! Easily the best view of Lyttelton, it was hard to leave. Super close to the town centre - we enjoyed walking each morning. Frank was such a gracious host, the lodge was beautifully clean, with breakfast cereals and fruit provided an extra bonus. Jenny’s garden is so incredible too! Thank you so much 😊

Great view. Comfortable bed. Friendly owner. Nice dog 🐕 Everything clean and in order. Fresh fruit, cereal, cookies, tea and coffee. 10 mins walk to restaurants in Lyttleton.

We spent the night at the Harbour Lodge for 1 night on 30/31 December 2015. I am typing this review after just getting home from Christchurch and this wonderful lodge.||||We were hoping to have spent 2 nights, but regrettably, their was no vacancy. I cannot thank Frank and Jenny for their wonderful hospitality. The room we had overlooked Christchurch Harbour. Located on a steep Hill, this beautiful lodge has uninterrupted views. Frank and Jenny offer tea and coffee and cereal should you require a light breakfast. The room was very tastefully decorated with views across the Harbour with a great big deck off your room just to sit and watch the tankers, fishing boats etc come and go in the harbour. You can have access to a huge TV and comfortable lounges if you want to have a quite night in. I recommend this Lodge to all and we cant wait to get back and spend a bit more time here. A huge thank you to Frank and Jenny for their wonderful hospitality and for their incredible home which allowed me to have the best nights sleep in the...

Whilst attending my daughter's wedding celebrations, I booked three rooms, for three nights, for my family members travelling from Melbourne. I cannot speak highly enough of our hosts Frank and Jenny, who took us into and shared their home with us. The location is within walking distance of the village of Lyttleton and its services. Our hosts were attentive, friendly and supportive, but, not intrusive. Their rooms were a delight, comfortable, spacious and serviced daily, unless one signed that it was not necessary. Ensuites, heated towel racks, room heaters ensured a comfortable stay. The views over Lyttleton Harbour are breathtaking, complemented by the external open patio, complete with outdoor furniture and barbecue for guests to relax and enjoy. Complimentary cereals, yogurts, fruit, tea and coffees ensure a relaxing start to the day. Frank and Jenny are approachable, friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay and commend you to them when next you visit Christchurch or...
