Gotta say, I am a foodie! So when we came I to this little local, my taste buds were blown away. Must try the carrot and walnut cupcake. It's large enough to feed 2, it's packed full of walnut and carrot. Not one of those piss take ones where it's only decorative. It's actually holds its name. BLT, on a bagel, great as the bagel wasn't overly toasted, just enough to pick up with hands (if you dare) and munch on in! The carrot cake slice had layers of cream cheese icing, from memory about 4-5. I'm one of those people who gets a normal slice of cake, break in half and put the icing top upside down making the icing be in the middle. There is just too much icing at times and I need the balance. Though these guys, they know of people like me, didn't disappoint. Coffee was so good and strong that we just couldn't leave without buying a few bags to bring back home. So, if you want a relaxed comfortable place to sit, tables at the right height with great food, I absolutely...

Very disappointing. There were 2 in our party and we placed our order for coffee and cabinet food @ 12.30 (there were 2 others ahead of us in the queue). We thought we'd allowed enough time to make a 1.15 appt. After 20mins I asked when we could expect our order, and was told 'it's on it's way, the food you ordered takes a while to heat in the oven'. Our order arrived another 10mins later, at which time we were given a 2nd excuse 'there was a large order placed before yours, causing the delay'. The coffee was lukewarm and the food was singed on top. We were offered another coffee, but didn't feel confident it would be made in time for us to make our appointment. It should never take 30mins for cabinet food to arrive, and we should have at least been advised the kitchen was busy and there would be a delay, or we could have made an...

Another in my 'coffee and a chat' locations in my sojourn of exploring around here in Christchurch! There's a chalk-board wall for those who wish to 'draw on the wall'... the seating is comfy, the décor is nice without being too 'trendy', the coffee is nice and the cups have handles you can actually fit your finger through! (yellow or grey cups!). Also a facility with glasses provided for those who wish a simple glass of water(free assuming you've ordered something else I assume). Had a lovely chat and a relaxed read of a magazine from the rack there. Just a relaxed time in a comfy seat on a nice sunny arvo. Just do it(here) !!. Yes, I will be back...(seating available outside too for those...

Coffee Culture in Lyttelton was a pleasant stop after a short hike. Their zesty and delicious mango smoothie was a standout—refreshing and made even better by the fact that no sugar was added. It was the perfect post-hike treat. The ham and cheese croissant sandwich, while decent, didn’t particularly stand out—it was fine but nothing to rave about. That said, the outdoor seating was a highlight. Sitting outside with the sun on our faces made for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a refreshing drink and some light bites, especially if you’re looking to unwind outdoors.

As a batista myself on holiday its alright. Asked for a flat white but got a capa instead. The 2nd flatwhite they made was an actual one so its probably a pure mistake initially. They use the Rancilio(good brand) coffee machine which gives nice strong steam so its not always easy steaming milk with the right amount of microfoam. They also use the electronic grinders which will always be very consistent with the coffee grinds which is always a PLUS. In the end coffee still tastes good and the staff are friendly as well and they gave me a ❤ on a busy day.

Yet another coffee culture outlet that I like to use now and then the usual polite and quick service that you would expect of CC. The coffee and food is ok - although if you could make sure that the butter for my scone is not deep frozen and spreadable would be a plus for me. Will be back again when in the area.
