Absolutely shocking booking experience. I tried to book a same day room for my staff because we had another place fall through due to a wedding and a booking system error. The guy at motel six wouldn’t accept payment saying I was a third party because I was not staying there. They questioned my company and were very difficult and acted like they didn’t believe me or trust me even though I was only trying to make a payment. They acted like it was a hassle for them to take the booking and I was an inconvenience even though the room was available to book on bookings.com, why would you have a room available if you didn’t want it used. Read moreThe owner and staff here are wonderful and accommodating. This motel is not celubrious, it is old but immaculately clean with a full stove to cook if you don't want to eat out all the time. No dishwasher but it does have new double glazed windows to overcome the road noise. We have stayed here several times as we are in Hamilton often visiting family. The rate here is keen, which helps our budget, it is in a handy, central location making it easy to get to places. I had an emergency and needed to reserve a room for a few days later, so I booked Motel Six through Booking.com. During pre-authorisation my debit card kept bouncing, which I initially thought was because it is from Australia, but it turned out they only accept credit cards.
