Red Rock Thermal Motel — Hotel in North Island

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS MOTEL 🧡 Second Time Coming With 11+ People , First Visit Was Beautiful , Staff Were So LOVELY , Allowed Us To Swim Despite The Pool & Thermal Spa Curfew & Our Second Visit , SO WELCOMING , Our Family Decided To Stay An Extra Night , As We Were Travelling From Auckland & We Stayed At Awakeri At First But By Saturday Night Was Told All Rooms Are Booked Out So We Had To Find A Place For 7 Adults & 4 Children To Sleep , Because Of The Experience We Went Through On The First Visit To Red Rock Thermal Motel In Rotorua , We Decided To Try Them Again , We Called Saturday Night They Said They Can Have Two Rooms Available By Sunday , Yet Again Lovely & Welcoming , gave us two rooms and gave us all the required help we needed , Because we were travelling with children and children are known to make messes we asked for a vacuum which they asked “is it not clean “ & we said “yes it was very clean but our children made a mess” they then offered to clean the kids mess and we insisted we take care of it , ALL THE STAFF OR FAMILY OR WHOEVER HELP TO MAINTAIN THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE / Are Incredibly Friendly & So Assisting, Always Made Sure We Were Okay , Cleaned the pool etc lovely lovely place & everytime we leave Auckland to come down these ways we will always be staying here , THANK YOU SO MUCH RED ROCK THERMAL MOTEL IN ROTORUA , May God Continue To Prosper Your Business In Jesus Mighty Name Agape Revival...

We stayed in unit 5 which has a full kitchen. It looks out on the building which has the mineral pool (hot pool). I liked our room because it was away from the busy road so it was very quiet. We also did not hear any noise from unit 6, which was right beside us. Everything was very clean. There was milk in the fridge on our arrival. When using the shower, have a decent flow of water going or you will get temperature fluctuations. Note that laundry is not self-service. (We went to Sunshine Laundromat to do laundry.) The only negative thing about the motel is that there is no air conditioning. Since it is a good idea to have things locked up while one is gone for the day, the room will be hot when you get back if it is summertime. It is possible to open windows on both sides of the unit, though, to get good air flow. Putting the fan on also helps. By bedtime, we always had the room cooled down enough to sleep well.
