Lovely, green campground with beautiful trees and plenty of shade. There were lots of nice spots to choose from, and we were lucky to get a nice shady spot under some trees in our tent. Plenty for children to do, with our favourites being the pool, the go-karts and the jumping pillow, where we spent most of our time. The spa is a little outdated, but we were grateful to have this free for half an hour as part of our membership, and the pool is lovely, with a fun slide and mini climbing wall. The kitchen we used became overcrowded at times as the influx of overseas tourist campervans arrived, but that's part and parcel of the season. Although there are no kitchen items provided, we used one of the open kitchens that had good ventilation - much appreciated in this hot summer. Staff were all friendly and helpful. However, we would have appreciated better communication between staff and the female owner regarding unstipulated rules related to the jumping pillow. Despite this small setback, we had a lot of fun and will choose to hold onto the positive experience we had there. If you do go with your children to the park, keep a close eye and stay with them if you can.

Terrible, disgusting, 0 stars Was provided with a porta cot for my youngest boy who is now sick due to black mould covered over his mattress that was provided and black mould on several pillow cases we paid a lot of money to stay for a week and we couldn’t use the heated pool as was Broken and on our last day they decided to fix it when we mentioned my boy was sick from the mould they said there’s a lot of colds going around terrible experience and they need to be held accountable so will be following this up further they didn’t want to negotiate a way to mend the situation when asked for extra night for free so we could use the pool at least and because of the experience we have had we were told straight up no but if we would like to check out 4 hours later we could pay $150 ridiculous I will be informing everybody I possibly can not to go there and shame on you!!

We did make a mistake in thinking all the rooms/cabins had kitchenette, ensuite and tv. But we had booked a standard room which was comfortable enough and the park amenities including kitchen was very close. Only a couple of nights so no real problem. Good caravan park, lots of good grass and shade, pool, playground, jumping pillow. Would definitely stay again (in an upgraded room)

We are currently touring the North and South Island in our own campervan and have stayed at over fifteen Top 10 sites over the past 3 months. We booked to stay at this site for a week and it was the first time I have felt uncomfortable and overwhelmed with the volume of caravans and groups crammed onto the 8m x 8m pitches. If you have anything larger than a 4 man tent and a gazebo then my tip would be to book 2 sites to give you some breathing room as the powered sites provided are far to small and very close together so you have to get on with your neighbour and be prepared to listen to there conversations. Once you’ve pitched your tent there is no room for your car. This leads to people abandoning and squeezing there cars where ever they can find a space.

I fully understand that we visited during “peak” holiday time and many kiwis are taking advantage of exploring there own country but I feel this site did not put customer comfort first. The non powered area looked empty and we were envious of the space and quiet that they had!

The bathrooms struggled with the volume of guests and I think a busy site like this really could do with putting time restrictions on the showers to prevent people taking half hour showers which left the walls and ceilings dripping wet.

On a positive note all the facilities were of a high standard, the pool is excellent for family’s. The kitchens and bathrooms were kept clean and the close proximity to Motueka high street and surrounding areas was spot on for a visit to the Abel Tasman. There’s a small on site shop selling all the essentials and the usual laundry ($4 wash $4 for 40 min dry) TV room and games room. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and films shown each evening.

There is also a wood fired pizza 🍕 van onsite on fridays.

I am sure that during off peak times this site would be very pleasant to visit.

The only other negative point I’d like to make was how the owner/manager (Ben) was very keen to make sure we left bang on 10am, he literally circled us from 9:45am on his ride on lawn mower, we found this behaviour pretty strange when there were still many more campers still packing up around us. We understand that grass needs cutting but surely this could wait until we left?

I feel my review is fair and hope that this Top 10 site can take my points on board without being...

Have been a member of top 10 for 15+ years and stayed all over NZs amazing top 10s and this is the first time we have ever stayed at our own towns top 10. Sadly our house caught fire in the ceiling and we are not allowed to stay due to carbon monoxide and asbestos so needed a place to stay for our family till we get our house fixed. Thankfully top 10 gave us their beautiful 3 bedroom apartment till Monday to rent. We settled in about 6.30pm at night and our son bought us dinner as it has been a hectic time. He has a dog that wasn't staying with us that he bought over to feed and give it some water then was dropping the dog off again to his friends. The owner came over and said he wasn't happy that there was a dog there as no pets allowed & that he'll be over in the morning. He turned up in the morning and said sorry to hear of your circumstances but you's will have to leave, we don't allow pets at all! So we got kicked out! So we packed up and needed to find another place to stay as our home is unlivable. If things weren't hard enough it put more pressure on us. Thankfully the lovely owners Vince & Carol took us in at The Motueka Garden Motel and even invited the dog to stay too. Sooo disappointed that Ben didn't give us a chance as we are good clean tidy people but at least we are safe, happy and together. Very disappointed as have had the best experiences ever all over NZ EXCEPT in our own...

Unfortunatly one of the most unfriendly and in my opinion most incompetent park managers i‘ve ever met. After we stayed at the place for three weeks we were not allowed to stay longer and kicked out without even given us the chance to have a fair discussion. There were some missunderstandings between my friends and the manager in the beginning when we arrived, but from the moment we were speaking with the manager and apologiezed us we thought all was settled and clear and all of the stuff they acused us of doing three weeks later didn‘t happened again one more time. We were kicked out because of things that we clearly didn’t do and we were given no chance to have a normal chat with the staff. At the day we were kicked out as well as now here in the chat there are things we were acused that are just not true ald incorrect. If the manager would have treated us the right way as a manager should treat his costumers we would be given a chance to have a chat with him just like two normal adult persons. Unfortunatly it was like speaking to a wall as we tryed to speak to him and in our opinion his behaviour was very wrong. The fact that i now read things from the staff that aren‘t correct even here on google is the most unpolite thing of it all. One star is to good for...
