Had a lovely experience saturday early evening, heaps of tables around 5ish and they also have a lil sun room area which looked serene from where i was sitting with the water feature outside my window Service was great and me and my partner got the the Pad See-Ew, mine with beef and his with pork. Ofcourse there is vegetarian too which is really nice and if you spend a bit more you could have the seafood or porkbelly but i was feeling like a simple dinner and oh my gosh was very filling and yummy with the egg and vegetables. I loved how the veges werent over cooked, they were just right giving me a nice lil crunch to my wide noodles🥰🥰 they have a menu for if ur feeling extra i thought that was cool at the back of the book so id love to give them a try sometime. Very satisfied with our visit. They do have takeaway here too so if your feeling like dining at home thats there too . I would like to try many more things there and the desserts sound good. Absolutely dreadful experience. I went there expecting a pleasant dinner, and instead, I got a sneaky $7 charge tacked onto my bill for ordering a "lunch special" during dinner hours. Let me be clear: there was NO mention of this surcharge anywhere on the menu, and the server didn't bother to inform me when I ordered. It's not even about the $7 itself; it's the sheer audacity of hiding fees like that. It feels like a cheap, underhanded tactic to squeeze a few extra bucks out of unsuspecting customers. I asked the staff about it, and they just shrugged and said, "That's how it is." No apology, no explanation, just a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. The food was mediocre at best, but this hidden charge left a truly sour taste in my mouth. We got takeaways. The food was ready when expected, and the staff friendly and professional. The satay beef on veges has become one of our new favourite dishes, but wouldn't get the sweet and sour pork or duck on noodles again. $80 for takeaway dinner for 4 felt a bit steep (though the duck option added a bit), but worth trying on a monday when everything else is closed.
