This place is very easy to locate, itâs right on Isaac John Street in GRA Ikeja, so you wonât have any issues finding it, even if itâs your first time going there. The environment is calm and not too crowded, which I really liked. Itâs the kind of place you can go when you just want to unwind and enjoy a nice meal without any stress or noise.
I had their grilled cat fish and I must say it was really yummy, well grilled, soft on the inside, and nicely presented. But Iâll advise you to ask them to make it spicy if you like pepper, because mine wasnât as spicy as I would have liked. Not a big deal though, just something to keep in mind when placing your order. But if youâre someone that doesnât like too much pepper or you just want it mild, then the regular way they serve it should be fine for you.
The staff are friendly and professional. From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming and ready to help. The service was really smooth and I like how attentive they were without being too much.
The ambiance is also very cool. Itâs an outdoor seating arrangement which gives it a chill and laid-back vibe. You get to sit under the open sky, which I really like because it makes the place feel fresh and relaxing. Thereâs also a big screen TV there. The day I went, they were showing a football match, which I wasnât really interested in. Iâm not sure if they only show football or if they play other things too, but if youâre a football fan, youâll probably enjoy it. And if youâre not, itâs still not a bad distraction, you can just focus on your food and the people youâre with.
Overall, I had a good time and Iâd say itâs a cool spot to hang out with friends, go on a chill date, or just eat good food in a peaceful setting. Itâs not too loud, not too busy, and they try to make sure youâre...
Read moreWaiter, Lady Manager - Terrible Service! The Services provided by the waiter was terrible, couldn't take a proper order without forgetting something, ordered for fish and fried yam cubes as side, fish came after waiting for a while, and the waiter forgot Yam was ordered , eventually brought yam like 30mins after when fish was almost finished. I placed order for a specific cocktail, he served another, I then requested for a refill of same mentioning the name, the waiter brought another cocktail again I then asked why is this different, that was when we realised the first cocktail served wasn't what I ordered for and it was in fact more expensive than what I requested for. I insisted since he wasn't taking notes of order with pen and pad he would need to pay the difference for not being smart. After a while a Lady manager came to resolve the situation but only made it worse by coming to accuse me straight without getting the customer's end of the story. She was so direct that I had been served a cocktail, I drank it and now I am refusing to pay, that was when I lost it with her, and still she kept insisting If I had known it wasn't what I ordered why didn't I reject it, I said wouldn't know for cocktails are experimental drinks, you see a name you pick, I probably only know pinacolada when I see it. Eventually it became rowdy until she got her senses right and realised her waiter did a terrible job with all our orders. I eventually paid the difference after she pleaded. In conclusion it's was unnecessary trauma for me, going through that in an expensive outdoor sit out when all I wanted was to chill and have a premium experience...
