The View Hotel, Lekki — Hotel in Lagos State

The roof was leaking. It was raining and the bathroom roof was heavily leaking. They tried giving me options of rooms to go for and the rooms were either also bad or something is also wrong with those rooms. I had to give up and sleep in the leaking room like that after they were searching for another room for an hour plus.

The Bedsheets were wet and it had this odd smell.

The light went off in the morning. And there was no water that morning. I had to brush my teeth wirh the leftover bottled water I ordered the previous day. I couldn’t bath. I left the hotel without bathing.

The staffs although tried to help me. But it was a very disappointing experience.

This hotel location was conveniently for the purpose of my stay. Suitably situated within the Lekki Phase 1 axis with easy access to options for Visitors/Tourists and those on business travels; with several shopping malls, stores and businesses situated around.

For the room, bathroom was quite spacious with well laid out shower cubicle. Security arrangement also adequate, with 24/7 awareness from the security guards.

Downside, room I stayed in wasn't properly cleaned despite staying for 2 nights. I would stay again, but only after inspecting the room before check in.

Had a bad experience here, stayed in the penthouse suite which is actually the most expensive and go 0 value for my money. There was no water the whole morning and i had an 8am meeting. By 7 am, I still hadn’t had a shower and the front desk couldn’t be bothered claiming it was a general problem and was being worked on.
