No5 LOUNGE — Local services in Lagos State

The restaurant is downstairs “Cafe Mesi” while the lounge No 5 is upstairs (if you wanna stay in the lounge, note that it gets hot sometimes so come with a handfan especially if you’re wearing makeup)

Food is amazing! Went back 3 times in one week. Only thing they need to work on is their noodles, I couldn’t eat it at all.

I LOVE how flexible they are with the menu. I’ve had to switch a couple things but my most memorable was when I switched the prawn in the mac & cheese for chicken and asked that it be spicy and whew! I enjoyed it so much.

Fridays & weekends may be packed, if you wanna have a nice time at the lounge and it’s packed you may be asked to buy a bottle to sit in the fancier side of the lounge. They’ll tell you it’s “reserved”. If there aren’t a lot of people then I don’t think that rule applies. Either way, ask before you sit 😂

Unfortunately for them, flies be waltzing in but they have a bug zapper so make sure you ask for that so you can enjoy your meal without fighting flies.

Nice clean environment, mellow 90s music, courteous staff.

I had snails for starters and the seafood penne pasta in tomato sauce for mains( they have two options, spaghetti or penne- in cream or tomato) The "seafoods" were a decent quantity, visible, and tasty. Which was a pleasant surprise, because I had low expectations. If you eat out in Lagos, you'll understand what I mean.

The snails (in traditional sauce was simply delicious! It was the right texture & flavourful.

That said, I was a little disappointed because the plantain lasagne which I originally ordered was not available. This is why they get 4 stars. I'll be be back to try that lasagne and if the service is still good, I'll...

I had dinner with a friend at the indoor lounge upstairs. The food was good. The music and ambience once it got dark was super cool 😎. The downside for me was that the indoor lounge had a lot of flies and mosquitoes 😑. I can't with those insects. Anyways, the staff were supportive in providing a tool to get rid of the insects, but I had already been bitten. There should be a way to prevent or manage this. That's why I sat inside and didn't...
