The Coffee Estate Inn is a lovely place to stay. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which is under the office building. There is a lot of privacy as each suite is it’s own building with a porch and views. Our room had a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, plates, utensils, etc. The first shower I took didn’t have very hot water, which worried me. For the next shower, the water was nice and hot so I’m not sure what happened with the first shower. The downsides are you need a rental car if you are going to stay here. The Coffee Estate is sufficiently far from Boquete that it is not easy to walk to the town area where the restaurants are. You could probably take taxi’s or Ubers if you don’t have a rental car. The other downside is that there is not someone at the front desk most of the time. They hosts give you a phone number to call to reach them but we didn’t find a phone in our room to be able to call. We did find someone to help us when needed. Breakfast is cooked to order and served from 7:30 to 9:30. Don’t expect to show up at 10:00 and get any food. We were able to arrange for an early breakfast at 7:15 so we could go on a morning tour with...
Read moreWe were looking for a comfortable hotel with beautiful views and great service for our first visit to Boquete. This hotel checked all of the boxes, plus it is a working coffee farm that grows and processes rich smooth flavored coffee which you can drink with your breakfast or in your room. My partner, a native of El Salvador, says the coffee is even better than his home country, and he never has said this before. ||The rooms are in sizable individual cabins with comfortable beds. Ours came with a separate dining room / living room that is well furnished. The rooms all have stunning views of Mt Baru. The breakfast options are varied, and all are deliciously prepared. They even included a Panamanian beef dish with onions that we loved.||We were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff (thanks Niurka!). The hotel is a short five minute drive from downtown Boquete. The grounds are beautiful, spacious, and add to the attractiveness of the hotel. There is a trail on the grounds so that you can see the coffee plants up close. There is a playground for children onsite plus a barbecue if the weather is nice. ||I am sure that we will...
Read moreBeautiful spot to stay in Boquete! Absolutely stunning views of Volcan Baru. Rooms were lovely and exactly what our family of 4 needed. Kids slept in one room in twin beds and we took the king overlooking the mountain. The patio was beautiful. Delicious coffee. Breakfast was basic but included and delivered to your room every morning. The road at the inn is STEEP but was a fun experience. Be ready to hike up and down a little as needed. It's about 5 or 10 minutes to town in a taxi that ranged from $6 to $8 per ride depending on the driver. I second guessed myself on if we should stay in town but I'm actually glad we chose to stay here and be away from the hustle and bustle of down town. It was quiet and beautiful. Owners are fabulous and super helpful / accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and hope to...
