I wouldn't normally leave a review in Google but this place was fabulous. Planned on staying just two nights, but actually extended our stay because it was so nice and restful here. Definitely to be recommended.

Traditional property with lovely, spotless, comfortable, spacious, restful rooms. Great WiFi, hot shower, TV and free secure off-street parking for cars or bikes. Very affordable and great value.

Fridge, kettle, and dining area also available to guests, to make a drink and simple meal.

Great location. Nice safe residential side street with a local bakery, groceries, good food options, and a wide range of local services.

Ten minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas and historical centre. Collectivo at road end for Chan Chan and the Shopping Mall. Next to the university so easy to get around the city and beyond.

There is no better place to stay in Trujillo than here. The host is as warm and friendly as we have ever experienced. We arrived in Trujillo on a night bus and were allowed to check in much earlier. So we even got the larger room at no additional cost. The host helped us wherever he could, printed out our bus tickets, gave us a cold bottle of water and a snack every day and tried to do everything with our poor knowledge of Spanish. We are a couple travelling on 2 motorcycles. Felipe greeted us and ushered us in to his safe and parking area.

The room was very clean and as much as we insisted it wasn't necessary, we had clean towels and a made bed on the next day. Bed was comfortable and we both had very good nights sleep.

10 minute walk to the plaza and Felipe provided some great recommendations for places to eat and a great laundry service just down the road.
