This hotel is a steal at app. S/.140 for a doble/matrimonial and app. S/.160 for a triple.||||We've gone here a couple of times with missionary teams and every single individual has said it was their favorite hotel in PERU hands down.||||The service is great, the rooms are spacious, cozy, and very clean and every amenity works perfectly (If you've travelled to Peru before you know what a big deal that is!). ||||The breakfast was the best I've had in a Peru hotel and I've stayed in dozens. The location is superb app. 1 block from the Plaza De Armas and within walking distance of dozens of great restaurants and shopping. The staff has a much more international approach to customer service and the typical S. American service is put to shame by their great approach!||||HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL for anyone, but especially big groups because it can be very frustrating bringing a big group down and losing many amenities or being promised one thing and receiving another- but for us Suite Plaza on Bolognesi (never been to the hostal across town) has always delivered and big!||||Going back in two weeks with over 20 people so I'll be sure to post...
Read moreI stayed here for 10 days in a small single room with a double bed and bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Room had small table, mini fridge, nightstand and closet with shelves. There was a small wall-mounted TV and a fan but no AC. Free wifi with a good signal and breakfast were also included. ||||The room was not large although there are larger rooms available. But for one or two people this is adequate if you are going to be out during the day. Rooms are made up each day with fresh towels, soap and shampoo. The hotel also has an Internet centre with two computers. Breakfast includes rolls, butter, jam, cereal, yogourt, choice of eggs, juice, tea and coffee. It is definitely good enough to get you on your way each morning. ||||Staff are very friendly. It is an excellent location, just a block from the Plaza de Armas. A drug store, small shops for general stuff and restaurants are all nearby. If I am ever in Trujillo again this will be the first place I...
Read moreI consider this hotel a very good one. Rooms are basic. Breakfast is good , a basic buffet and the reception is confortable and cozy unfortunately they don't have air conditioning but I want to comment about the good attitude of the personnel. They are incredibly gentle. We were there for 3 days and the receptionist, the waiters in the cafeteria, the maintenance people, all were very, very helpful all the time. They took initiative to help in all the situations they observed. When we needed fans ( because it was absolutely hot in the room) they ran to bring one. When we needed to dry our clothes from the beach, they offered to dry them in their machine with no extra cost. The drinks in the fridge they have in their rooms are cheap just the same cost like in any store so we really enjoyed...
