LOS LEONES HOTEL BOUTIQUE — Hotel in Yanahuara

It's all the little things that make a hotel great - and Los Leones has them all. Their staff are genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and truly care about your comfort. Carla, Edgardo and Lisbeth are some of the nicest people you'll meet anywhere - and they are also great at their jobs. Then there was the bed - so comfy, I slept like a log for over 9 hours. The shower was also the best one I've encountered in many travels around South America so far.||||The hotel's location is north of the main centre but within easy walking distance. It's a quiet (by Arequipa standards, of course) local neighborhood that's totally safe - and not too far from the lookout (Mirador) at Yanahuara, a famous landmark.||||I really can't say enough good things about this place - it is exceptional value for money, with a good breakfast included in the rate. If I ever come back to Arequipa, this is where I will definitely be staying again....

We paid about $65AUS for 3 nights at this place. Rooms were great, nice hot shower, clean modern bathroom, comfortable beds. But the staff were absolutely incredible. No matter what we requested there was always two lovely lady’s on the desk during the day making sure we had a stocked bar fridge, towels, tours organized and if we had an early start for a tour they’d ensure a breakfast bag waiting for us at even at 4am. If friendly amazing service at a ridiculously low price is something you value, stay here. I’ve stayed at plenty of 5 star hotels who couldn’t care half as much as the staff at this lovely...

Sometimes, when you travel, you end up meeting people more charming and kind than other places.||This was the case in Los Leones ! The lady at the reception for the afternoon shift was amazing : she brought tea to my wife when she was sick, she run in the street to stop a taxi for us, she was always kind, super polite, and funny.||She made our stay there perfect, thanks again !||Aside, the room is really nice, even if the shaower is a little bit narrow. The breakfast is also correct, and the Wi-Fi connection...
