Oceana Lodge — Hotel in Baler

It's a small place near Sabang beach, only 8 rooms available compared to the bigger nearby b&b's. But the room looks new and its so clean, everything is white. Had a good sleep in their comfy beds. No bugs. You can have the free breakfast anytime you want just inform them what time you want to have it served. Room have two doors; front door where your car will be parked and a back door where you will have a sitting area where you can have your meals. Doors doesn't have double locks, we just put the chairs in the room against the doors when we slept. Shower has good water pressure and has a glass sliding door and a mat just outside so the toilet doesn't get wet. This room is Php 3500 a night good for 4 but were only 3 so...

Like one reviewer said, the place serves its purpose. The rooms we got were brightly decorated and had that summer-y vibe to it. The lodge was also a few steps from the beach which is a great advantage. |I recommend the second level rooms since each has a balcony where you can sit in the evenings while listening to the waters and enjoying your favorite beverage. |The rooms (bathroom included) are small but one wouldn't mind this. At least my friends and I didn't, since we spent most of our time outside. |We missed out on the breakfast though, as we were told they don't serve any. It was last minute booking. Ate Norma, owner, is very pleasant & kind. We checked-in around 7am, and was charged addtl Php500 which is really understandable knowing that check-in time is not until 2PM & Early check-in charge was supposed to be Php100/hr. She even gave us free late checkout 2pm the nextday. The rate comes with breakfast. I'm a very meticulous traveller regarding accommodation details: the bed, balcony, ventilation, a/c & the toilet/bathroom(i'm very picky w/ this one).
