I found out about them while searching for new food to try in Foodpanda and I can say that this restaurant is a gem that transported me straight to the streets and flavors of Jaipur, where I stayed for about three months. It has great choices for vegetarians.
Saffron Sips is more than just an Indian restaurant; it's a portal to a world of exquisite flavors and culinary experience.
I started with their Mushroom Chili and it instantly hits nostalgia for me. It reminded me of the Manchurian that I have had in the streets of Jaipur, just the right amount of mushrooms and sweet capsicum.
Their Palak Paneer is also on point and I can say they are using real Paneer, taste is also well-balanced of spiciness.
The breads, especially the stuffed Kulcha is the winner for me as it reminds me of the breakfast I usually have in India. Get the paneer one for a more authentic Indian feel and taste.
I've yet to explore their other dishes, but for sure I will love it!
If you are craving for an authentic taste of India, look no further than Saffron Sips. It's a hidden gem that will leave you craving for more.

Read moreFood was as good as Indian food could get. Saffron Sips offer another opportunity for Cebuanos to experience the delicious complexity of Indian food which does not get the credit it deserves here in Cebu. As always, we got their chicken tikka butter masala where the mixture of their authentic spices enhanced the rich and succulent flavor profile of this dish. It is best paired with their smoky sweet naan which (we saw through their glass window) was freshly handmade by their intricate chef. We capped off this beautiful meal with their very recommended gulab jamun. It was my first time to try this unique dessert and its perfectly sweet taste and melt-in-your-mouth texture was enough to make it to my "to try again" list. I also enjoyed their masala soda. Although it was new to my taste, it was worth the...
Read moreI ordered mutton biryani (spicy), lassi, and fish. The biryani didn’t even have proper salt and lacked any real taste of authentic biryani. The lassi wasn’t even close to what a lassi should be – it looked odd and was just icy water.
The staff behavior was even worse. There were only 5–6 customers across 3 tables and 3 staff members were present, yet they weren’t attentive at all. Instead, they were busy gossiping ,even about customers, which I could clearly hear. Highly unprofessional and unpleasant.
The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the rice quality looked fine and the cooking itself wasn’t raw or underdone. But this is nowhere near authentic biryani, and overall, it left a very bad impression.
Definitely...
