Disappointing Stay at Lucky Tito’s – Wouldn’t Recommend We had such high hopes for our stay at Lucky Tito’s in Coron, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge letdown. • Filthy Pool: The water was so murky and clearly not maintained properly. Didn’t feel safe swimming in it. • Dirty Rooms: They don’t clean the rooms unless you specifically request it, and even then, it’s poorly done. When they finally cleaned ours, they left all the used wet towels on the bed, making it completely damp. Sheets were never changed. • Terrible Breakfast: There was basically no choice—just eggs, and no fruit at all, which is shocking considering how much fruit grows on the island. If you’re hosting international guests, at least offer a simple fruit platter or cereal. • Useless WiFi: There are two networks, but neither works properly. You just end up wasting time switching between them, hoping for a signal. • Basic Essentials Missing: No soap, no toilet paper. We had to ask for both—not once, but twice. This felt less like an accident and more like them trying to cut costs. • Lack of Relaxation Space: Only two hammocks for about 30 rooms—so roughly 60 guests. Nowhere else to sit and unwind. Even if there were, the flies are everywhere—in the dining area, outside, and even in the rooms. • Noise Issues: The chickens and dogs next door are extremely loud, keeping you up until 11 PM and waking you at 5 AM. Don’t expect peaceful sleep here. • Difficult Access: The path to the hotel from the main road is a steep hill with around six stray dogs. Not ideal if you’re carrying luggage or don’t feel comfortable around stray animals. • Payment Issues: We checked out at 6:30 AM for our 7:30 AM ferry (which required us to be there 30 minutes early), only to be told their card machine wasn’t working. Nowhere on Booking.com did it state that they don’t accept card payments, which put us in a difficult situation. • Honeymoon Letdown: We informed them in advance that it was our honeymoon and kindly asked if they could do any small complimentary decorations upon arrival—like our hotels in Manila and Dubai, which did so for free. Instead, at checkout, they tried to charge us 1,000 pesos for fake roses and petals that cost 100 pesos at the market across the street. The only good part? The Filipino staff. They were kind, helpful, and did what they could within the limitations set by management. It’s clear that the hotel’s policies and owners (rumored to be Korean, as we heard from other guests) are the real problem. Final Thoughts: For the price, there are far better places to stay in Coron. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and constant issues made this a completely disappointing experience. Would not return.

This is my second time choosing Lucky Tito. It has not disappointed me again. After the renovation, they improved the facilities in the room, the dining environment in the public space, and the beautiful swimming pool. The all-day WiFi and power support make remote workers feel very comfortable, as Coron Island often experiences power outages. The staff always greet guests with smiles and provide excellent service. They will clean the room for you if you need it, which is very environmentally friendly. I think I will always choose this hotel with high value for Coron. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that the outdoor restaurant on the fourth floor is still under renovation. I'm really looking forward to its opening.

Good location just a bit of a walk to the town and to nearby restaurants and food stalls. There are available tours u can avail at the hotel and it is also near different tour agencies if you want to see other options. There is a walkable distance ATM if you fall short on cash. And gasoline station is also just a few minutes of walk. Good location! Although, please be aware that there is a abit of downhill walk so might be a bit of a challenge for some people with difficulty in walking. The staff are great. Friendly and accommodating 💜 especially Jeff. It was a short stay but it was great. Ah also, they have diving school and soon to have diving shop. They also have this cute little puppy - Lucky.

Down a steep road ramp from main road you get to "LuckTito Diving Inn". Don't be confused though cause they offer NO DIVING, not affiliated with any shop either. I think this place was called "Sailing Inn" and changed name either because of bad reviews or a buy out.

The young lady on reception is wonderful, very pleasant, nice, helpful and usually quite cheerful.

Breakfast seems to be microwaved stuff, pancakes that look like toasties, clearly microwaved.

Pool.was not cleaned once when I was there even though I asked for it to be. Film on top of the water and sediment at the bottom, pumps never turned on, so didn't use the pool at all even though that was one of main reasons to book here.

Room for a 4 night stay was not attended to either, bed not made up or floor swept or bathroom attended to, water pools in the bathroom and stagnates there, room smelt a bit funky. Water heater for shower had to be turned on and took a while, but then power outage happens, even though they have a large generator or doesn't power anything in rooms, so if power goes off be prepared to sit in dark with no AC and no water. No emergency lights either. No facilities in rooms like...

Not quite the hotel you expect it to be.

Compared to the pictures, the hotel hasn't aged well, rooms are in mediocre shape, many spots on bed linens, bathrooms hardwares are either in poor shape or broken. Special mention to water heaters power cables being just 50cm above shower !!!

You feel like this hotel was a bought a few years by Chinese owners, cheaply refreshed and maintenance has been on minimal set, this won't improve in the future because the maintenance is bad.

Room cleaning is on demand only and when you ask for it, it isn't properly done or not done at all.

Breakfast is strict minimum, most stuff is on very pricey add-ons.

Pool isn't cleaned everyday and looks very dirty.

Hotel is surrounded by houses with many roasters and dogs, so don't expect to sleep well cause they sing as early as 1:30 am. They also burn trash and cook so it gets into the AC.

We asked to change room because of that and because half the bathroom was broken.

For the price we paid, this is clearly one of the worst...
