Island Tiki Paradise Resort — Hotel in Dauis

Absolutely amazing service. From the day I made the booking to when they dropped us at the oceanjet ferry on our departure. We have NEVER had such great service. Organised any tour, driver we wanted, welcome drink on arrival, free pick up and drop off service, even when our plane was delayed and we just caught the late ferry, nothing was too much hassle. Drinks by the pool, food delivered to room, friendly and personal staff and owner. Better than any 5 star hotel for service. Comfortable beds, noisy but working air-con and a good pool. Thank you especially to Nina, you made our holiday so much better. Robert the owner was also personal and friendly. Would never stay anywhere else when in Bohol.||All the food was delicious, but they can not cook beef, it was tasty but dry and chewy. Pizzas and other food was great.||Location was ok, but nothing was in walking distance, (not one shop, maybe the Bohol Bee Farm). But their service is so great, they happily dropped us off at local destinations each day for free. The bathroom needs renovating, very token shower and silicon around sink plug hole mouldy, but their amazing service overrides this issue plus you can tell they are constantly...

The second time I stopped in here in the last few months. The menu is a good mix of western, Filipino and Asia meals.||Their pizza is amazing! Toppings are limited but the flavor of the crust is the best I have had in Asia. ||I came with friends and there 3 children so we ordered a variety of dishes. Again pizza is great, other notable dishes we enjoyed were tuna sisig, chili con care, curry chicken, spicy beef and crispy pata. ||Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and very well trained. ||They have board games and blocks for the kids to play with which made they happy and quiet.||What surprised us the most is that they refused to accept our tip. Apparently, they have a strict no tipping policy. VThe manager said: ”The best tip you can give us is to tell your friends.” well - I am telling everyone that this place is a hidden Gem that you should check out when visiting Bohol or Alona...

We have eaten here several times. Usually for dinner. Food is good. Pizza is the best. Use real cheese. Greenwich pizza is disgusting. Greenwich pizza serves pizza with fake processed "cheese". Island Tiki restaurant has the best New York style pizzas on Panglao Island. I don't like the no tipping policy. Americans like to tip to show appreciation for good service. Very hard to find good waiters & good customer service in the Philippines. I think "no tipping" is the policy at Island Tiki because most Filipinos are so cheap they don't normally tip & avoid restaurants where tipping is allowed. It's owned by an American from New York. He should allow tipping to encourage better service. It's a proven motivator. Foreigners with class tip. Low class customers tip small if at all. I say cater to customers with class. Let cheap people eat at home or at a road side food stall if they're too cheap to tip for good...
