Fiesole Residence Inn — Hotel in Dumaguete

Overall, my experience was average, with a mix of positive and negative aspects. This was particularly disappointing as we had planned to make coffee early in the morning before our flight. It is frustrating to see non-working equipment in the room and I suggest you double-check devices before putting them in rooms.Non-Functional TV: The television in the room was not working which rendered it useless.Single Access Card: We were only provided with one room access card. This means that the air conditioning shuts off each time we leave the room, causing inconvenience. this hotel is relatively new i would say. it was still undergoing construction the last time we were in Dumaguete a year ago. and i am glad we decided to book our stay here! check in was a breeze, the staff were all very helpful and always smiling and attentive. any request we had was not a problem for them be it asking for extra pillows and towels or having our laundry done (they coordinate with a 3rd party laundry service) and requesting for an airport shuttle. the rooms are clean, there's a hot shower and fantastic water pressure (careful though not to put the shower on full blast it would probably put a dent in your skull), food was okay and affordable. the location is great! one block away from Siliman University, two blocks away from the boulevard. basically everywhere you need to go is walking distance. will definitely be...

We stayed on their family room, can't say I will recommend it to families and friends because I wasn't very satisfied with our room

-family room have no windows -toilet needs deep cleaning (complained abt strong pee smell even before we were able to use the toilet. Staff came over and sprayed it down with a room spray saying the smell is coming from the sink(?) and left. True enough the smell was gone (or masked?) But upon further investigation on my part, I found out that the toilet seat cover connections are obviously dirty with yellow gunk.
