The Buglasan Festival is full of joy and surprises. The stand of the different municipalities of Dumaguete show how much the region is attached to this tradition and also the effort they are consenting to it. Some are demonstrating a true creativity like the ones of Can Laon and of Guihulngan. People are really friendly almost everywhere. The parades and there are more to come show enthusiasm and preparation reflected in their costumes and dance show. The flowers vendors participate nicely and with quality plants and flowers and good presentations. The only weak point is the acoustic not managed professionally during singing contests detrimental to the performance of the singers. There always in any event things to be improved! A...

Freedom Park is one of the visited spots in Dumaguete. Fortunately, it's near to my school and other schools. Unfortunately, it's where people hang out after their classes and when they've got some free time especially during the afternoons. It's unfortunate because people take it for granted. They leave garbages and stuff they used lying on the ground without even thinking about how it coukd affect the park.

People stay there so I hope thay people will mind people and respect each other.

I also do hang out here becaise it's a big park and it's near...

This park is the official center of the city where many events take place , in particular the Buglasan festival taking place in October. During that period and in the Advent, it is very animated and somehow nice. The different municipalities of the region are present with temporary exhibition constructions. Festivities anímate the park for several days. There were important changes which make the place attractive and beautiful now. Thank you to those who think, design, and realise it. It's really a pleasure...

Before the pandemic me and my family are always here every night. I love it because the place is so big where my kids can run everywhere, on the grass on the pathway and even ride on the carabao statue in front of the Capitol Building. I recommend this place because it's safe and secure especially for families with kids.
