The Buglasan Festival is full of joy and surprises. The stand of the different municipalities of Dumaguete show how much the region is attached to this tradition and also the effort they are consenting to it. Some are demonstrating a true creativity like the ones of Can Laon and of Guihulngan. People are really friendly almost everywhere. The parades and there are more to come show enthusiasm and preparation reflected in their costumes and dance show. The flowers vendors participate nicely and with quality plants and flowers and good presentations. The only weak point is the acoustic not managed professionally during singing contests detrimental to the performance of the singers. There always in any event things to be improved! A big thank you

Before the pandemic me and my family are always here every night. I love it because the place is so big where my kids can run everywhere, on the grass on the pathway and even ride on the carabao statue in front of the Capitol Building. I recommend this place because it's safe and secure especially for families with kids.

Close to the heart of the bustling city likeDumaguete, the Ninoy Aquino MemorialFreedom Park is a calm, refreshing patch of green. It is the perfect place to rest while taking a break from sightseeing. Thepark is named after Ninoy Aquino, a prominent politician who was assassinated in 1983.

Photos were taken during Buglasan Festival so the booths and attractions are only there once a year. The park doesnt have many places to sit and any available don't have shade. The only exception is the area near the highway road with the huge tree. There needs to be more trees....

The wide green yards of Freedom Park make a peaceful sanctuary amidst Dumaguete's bustling roads. Seats invite guests to sit and unwind. Individuals run, walk their canines, or carry their kids to play. AMAZING PLACE!
