Faith Rica Pensione — Hotel in El Nido

Ok, I am a middle aged lady who likes the AC and cable, the main reason for booking this hotel. I requested a quite room and I got a room at the reception desk next to the stair case. So there was noise most of the night with people coming and going. Another problem I needed to stand on a chair to switch the AC on and off. Also the curtains where made of heshon which l didn't realise you can see through and as there is no room to dry yourself you need to do it in the room. With a seat almost directly in front of my window so anyone sitting there could see directly into the room, even if the light or TV was on they could see in. Was not able to watch the TV as the picture was so bad so paid for something l couldn't use. Also NO soap so make sure you take some. I did complain about the noise as I hadn't had a good night sleep for 2 nights and I was offered another room which l could move to later that evening. I started to pack then to find the room had no hot water so a complete down grade. As I wanted to shower after diving l declined the offer. They did allow me an extra 1/2 hour after check out because l came back from diving at 12. Sorry l would not recommend this hotel to...

Stayed in this pension house on Jan.26-29 by our travel agency. ||PROS :||Location is very nice. Centrally located within restaurants and nearby island tours||Staff : very accommodating and hardworking too. The front desk guy allowed us to go back to our room to get a shower even after we checked out||Breakfast : It's part of the room package. Typical Filipino breakfast. We chose the longganisa. ||Rooms : so ok for the price.||Restaurant : When we arrived, we were wondering why the restaurant is on the 3rd floor but during breakfast, they have reasons why its on the third floor! because you can have breakfast while enjoying the view of the rock formation||||CONS :||not really against the property though but they gave us a contact number for their||goPro. We fully paid for the two days rent but on the 2nd day, the goPro didn't function because they gave us another battery on the 2nd day. I asked for the refund but the guy said he already remitted the money. Not a big deal though but so many wasted memories on our 2nd day of island hopping.||||will definetly go back...

We stayed here in January 2018 and the place is neat. The bathroom is a bit bigger than what I am expecting and it's clean too. I would suggest for them to replace the ac in the room where we stayed because it's not cooling that much that I had to ask for a fan. There's free WiFi, but has slow connection. If you would like to use mobile internet data, opt for Globe as it has a stronger signal in the area (Smart subscriber here). Free breakfast is okay and "Ate" who serves the bfast is very kind.
