Came in with my family on January 3rd. I had the lasagna and my daughter had the Mac n cheese. Later that night my daughter started vomiting and having diarrhea. I didn’t think much of it. I can back alone on January 5th during the day. It was an all female crew. My smoothie bowl was fine. Came in later that evening and the crew was all male, sort of mischievous looking. I had the same bowl but felt sick after. Later that night I started vomiting and having diarrhea. I found out later that 3 of my cousins that separated from us after eating at Taste also had the same vomiting and diarrhea experience.
The dude that wore a headband in particular looked as if he was up to no good. He was the common denominator in everyone’s bad experience. The guy had short hair but wore a headband as if he was keeping long hair out of his eyes. His hair wasn’t even long enough to fall...
Read moreI was in El Nido for around a week, and without fail I would come to this cute cafe almost once a day.
As a vegan, it was perfect to have a cafe which had an extensive and fresh range of options to choose from.
The staff, the setup of the cafe, it all really made me feel at home. The food and the drinks I had here always comes out fresh and pretty quickly!

Though the picture of these waffles might look messy (it survived a crazy tuk tuk ride in the rain), but it was delicious. Like everything else I tried.
A massive thank you to the team at Taste El Nido, and I cannot wait to visit you...

The smoked ham sandwich sounded promising, but it was underwhelming. It turned out to be a simple toast with salad and standard smoked tofu – something you'd easily make at home. Nothing special in terms of flavor. The chickun wrap was served cold and only had a few pieces of tofu with some salad.
Upstairs, the tables were dirty and didn’t seem to be cleaned regularly. Leftover food sat around for quite a while. The board games available were in poor condition and not appealing to use.
On a positive note, the coffee was decent.
Overall, it might be okay for a quick snack, but I wouldn't expect much...
