Krizma Inn — Hotel in El Nido

AGGRESSIVE & VIOLET STAFF - HEAVILY ADVISE AGAINST STAYING/RENTING MOTORBIKE: we rented a bike from here as was staying across the road and the hotel recommended them to us. Our fault initially for not properly checking over the bike but it looked fine until we rode it to and from Lio beach (10 minutes) and noticed something was wrong with the bike (back tyre was slightly flat). After letting the staff know, they decided to shout at me saying I’m denying the damage (I would’ve happily owned up to anything if I did anything but the bike clearly was not well looked after or even checked by the staff and simply rented out). Part of the contract says that the renter is responsible for new tyres (conveniently). After agreeing the pay for something I didn’t do they said it would just be an inner-tube replacement to fix the puncture however, they decided to get a whole new tyre on the bike and said I damaged the other wall of it (have in mind this tyre was nearly bare anyway). After I disagreed and was questioning it, the owner (man) closed the gate to the property and went to PUNCH me and followed that up by picking up the old tyre and swinging it at me. After letting the staff know, they decided to shout at me saying I’m denying any damage (I would’ve happily owned up to anything if I did anything!). Part of the contact signed says that the renter is responsible for new tyres (conveniently), after agreeing to pay for something I didn’t do as they said it would just be an inner-tube they decided to get a new tyre on the bike and tried saying I damaged the outer wall of it (have in mind this tyre was nearly bear anyway). After I disagreed and was questioning it, he closed the gates to the property and went to PUNCH me and followed that up by picking up the old tyre and swinging it at me…they clearly will do anything to con money out of tourists so...

Rate is P800 per night. It's enough for a solo traveler like me who is looking for a place to sleep. However, my room has a bad signal in Wifi and network. They are also not using AC, only electric fan when I went there. They told me that it is because they were running the place thru generator as of the moment because there were no electricity in the area due to the storm at that time. They have hot shower and private comfort room which is good. They also provide complimentary breakfast that I was not able to take advantage because I was not aware with it. Employees are good and friendly.

I rated it fair because I don't particularly like the aesthetics of the room and comfort room. They also turned off the generator in the morning (maybe they were saving) that is why it is hot in my place.

But I do think if the weather has been good and there was electricity, I would have rated...
