Room was ok for 2 people but when we stayed there, there was a power outage meaning no water in the CR since they used an electric pump, no emergency lights in the room so we had to use our phones for flashlights, no generator even a small one for lights or charging stations so instead of resting, we had to go around & find somewhere to charge our phones and eat. we were told we could ask for water if we wanted to bathe when the power was out so we did, the water provided was a bit murky. Pool is very small only good for 3-4 people. The rooms are also not the least bit “sound-proof” or at least the walls would be thick enough for us not to hear our neighbors, we unfortunately had a neighbor with kids and their kids kept crying all night because it was obviously very hot in the hotel room. They did not have food to order but there was a small Silog shop nextdoor. They only provide a small bottle of water for 2 people but succeeding refills are 10 pesos each. The place is a bit far from the main GL, not walkable unless used to walking, and the roads leading to it were dark at night time. We rented a car but the road was small & it was hard to find a good spot to park outside. The wifi connection was just terrible, it was very hard to access so we had to use our mobile data the whole duration of our stay and data is very slow in the area. The staff however were very accomodating especially ate Jecel (?) very attentive to our needs, corteous, and was very friendly. Staff definitely 5/5. The place was just okay overall but will honestly not stay there again if we...
Read moreOnly after 2 months, my friends and I went back to Siargao and stayed at Blauset House II for 5D4N. We found them on the Internet. The place looked beautiful in the pictures while the reviews on their website and here on Trip Advisor were a mix of good and average. Still, we took a chance at this place. ||Pros: |Affordable rate for a resort that has a pool but really small, only good for 5 people|Room rate is affordable for the 4 of us to share|Staff was nice enough|LTE signal was high in the area|Wifi in the room is available but inconsistent ||Cons:|Location is really far from the main road. We had to call our on-call tricycle driver everytime we are leaving the resort because there are no tricycles passing nearby. ||Road to the resort is the worst. Be ready for a muddy-bumpy ride everytime. ||Water from the faucet and shower smelled like water from the sewer. The staff said it’s because it is water from the sea that is treated but definitely clean. We had to endure this for 5 days even when we brush our teeth. It smelled like poop everytime. This was the dealbreaker so never again!!||Flush in the toilet goes in and out and we had to call a staff member everytime. ||Sun beds by the pool were dirty, had holes and worn out. ||The resort has potential but obviously hasn’t been maintained well. Good thing, we were out most of the time as we also didn’t want to stay in the resort. Hope the owners make the travel to the...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights and the room was spacious and clean. It has 1 king-sized bed and 2 bunk beds. They have a small pool. They don't have food to order but has a small shared kitchen and dining space. Also, there was a notice sign on the room table about the hotel's absence of generator. Unfortunately, on the first and second days of our stay, there was a power outage that lasted an hour. The location for me wasn't the best as the road leading to the hotel was unpaved. Also, since none of us knew how to drive a motorbike and the hotel was a little way off the main road, we had to ask the staff to call a tricycle for us so we could go to restaurants. The minimum fare rate is 30 pesos each. However, there were drivers who charged us 50 pesos each for a ride from Blauset Two to Corner Cafe and another from Kermit to Blauset Two) ¯(ツ)/¯.
Nonetheless, the staff were 100% accommodating and friendly. Big thanks to Jecel and Shai :)
Overall, the place has...
