I cannot stop thinking about this place!! I love pasta and sometimes a bit of a pasta snob (I struggle to find a pasta option on the menu that I want to order and when I do it’s really hard to please me). I ordered the caramelle pasta based on the reviews and also it just sounded like a really good combination of flavours that I have never tried before. IT WAS AMAZINGGGG!! The first bite was like a party in my mouth and every bite I just enjoyed more and more until my plate was empty. The portion was enough to satisfy me but it was so good I almost ordered a second plate because I didn’t want to stop eating. Perfect balance of sweet, little bit of savoury, salty, zesty, creaminess omg i am drooling just writing about it. We also ordered the pumpkin polpettas for our baby as the only option suitable for her age and they were also so good I wanted to order one for ourselves too, perfect texture and flavour and the sauce was so rich and creamy. They also had a high chair for our baby which was a bonus as not many restaurants around have them available. I will...
Read moreThe place looks nice, but unfortunately that was all for us. We wanted to order bruscetta to start, but that was sold out? They had no tomatoes anymore… how can you not have tomatoes in an Italian Restaurant?
We then asked if there were more things sold uit that we needed to know. But that was not the case. After we made a decided what to eat, my girlfriend orderd a ravioli, but that was then sold out too so she picked truffel pasta. One minute later the waiter came back to tell us that they did not have that aswell. Third choise (carbonara) was finally possible.
The carbonara was completely tasteless and totaly not worth the price. Lasagna was the only good thing we have had.
When they cleared our table the did not ask how the food was. So I had to say something to the waiter, but that did not seem to come through. For the filipines and what we had, the bill was very expensive (1947p for 2). I would never...
Read moreEverything was delicious! Our table of 5 ordered lasagna, two carbonaras, seafood pasta, bolognese, meatballs, and tuna sisig. The Italian dishes were all very well done. The handmade pasta had a pleasant chew and the sauces were all rich and flavorful (the carbonara maybe even a little too rich).
The tuna sisig was quite spicy, but manageable. The star of the meal though was the mango panna cotta which was lightly drizzled with balsamic sauce, that somehow mixed with the mango to taste like caramel! Such an interesting flavor combination we've never had anywhere else. Perfectly creamy texture too.
Service was quick for any additional requests. Outdoor seating might be a problem for hotter days but we ate at night so no complaints.
Overall very happy and worth a...
