Even I was surprised how worth it, the price I paid for my stay here. The villa (#3) looks compact from outside, but inside was so spacious that there's even a loft to laze around. It is self-contained, complete with gas stove, cooking utensils, pots/pans, fridge, water/ dispenser, aircon, several fans, really like your own home compacted and transported to Siargao. You can cook whatever you like, there's no pressure to wake up and eat brekkie compared to staying in a hotel. You save moolah in the long run. There's an in-house resto/bar near the pool if you can't be bothered to cook though. Pool was okay, a bit weird in its layout (you can't do lapping, like a yin-yang config with a center a foot in depth with a 4 &6 ft deep opposing sides). There's also a common area in the center of the complex, a 2 storey completely open wooden structure allowing breeze through, in all directions, complete with lounge chairs, beanie bags, swings, with 360° view of the resort. Cool drinks are also available at the reception, and a motorbike rental at P350/day. Advisable to rent one as location of resort is not readily accessible to the main tourism road. I will definitely consider staying here again. Shoutout to Richie the receptionist,...
Read moreWe had a really lovely stay here! Our dates kept being changed and they understood which was helpful! The owner was very kind, the cottages were clean, the grounds were beautiful and well kept and we loved the pool area. The cottage was a little tight for 6 people though.
The location was quiet but you definitely need a motorbike or a tuk tuk (plenty waiting outside) to get into the main restaurant area in town though there are a couple good ones close by. Recommend checking out the banana lady around the corner!
The kitchen was a little dark and stuffy, would be helpful to have a fan for air circulation and maybe a light in the middle. But the owner and the team provided great service and quickly addressed questions or when we needed fresh water or towels!
There were onsite scooter rentals, excursions, and...
Read moreThe place was good with nice facilities and friendly staff. The restobar food was average but overpriced. What disappointed me was the confusion over charges. I booked the stay for me and my friends on different dates—my partner and I left on Feb 15, and my friends stayed until Feb 16. Despite us leaving, they tried to charge for four people on Feb 15 saying that the booking ownership cannot be transferred (first time I have heard of this from all my booking experience). Although they eventually dropped the charge, it was frustrating. They also attempted to charge 50 pesos for fresh towels—are guests expected to use the same towel for the entire stay? They didn’t go through with the charge, but the whole experience was...
