The Ohm Café & Bistro: All-Day Dining & Poolside Drinks — Restaurant in General Luna

I usually only do 5 star reviews in google maps BUT - Coming in today for Ohm with 100+ reviews and a 5.0 rating I was expecting much better.

The place and the atmosphere is great. Service is good. Unfortunately I believe the food and beverages don’t deserve 5 stars - we just couldn’t finish it. I unfortunately also had the worst flat white I’ve ever had here in my life. It was extremely hot and very bitter. I found myself rushing to get out of this place. I was also warned by a friend that ohm isn’t worth it but I decided to give it a shot due to the great reviews.

Perhaps we ordered all the wrong things but I believe this is a fair review. I don’t think Ohm is a horrible cafe but I also don’t think it deserves 5 stars. I won’t be coming back...

Absolutely love this newly opened spot on the island! It's the perfect place to unwind, indulge in their fantastic (just expanded) menu, their famous Indian masala chai or a coffee, groove to some jazzy tunes, get work done (good WiFi), dive into a good book (they have books 🙏🏼) or simply engage in delightful conversations with the attentive staff. Loved eating here! The food was fresh and flavorful—they use high quality ingredients and unique spices resulting in a healthy and tasty meals. I particularly appreciated that food was not oily, unlike in most other restaurants. There’s also lots of books and board games you can enjoy while at the cafe. The owner was super friendly and even gave great tips on what to see and do around Siargao. You can really feel the care they put into both the food and the experience.
