First I chose this hotel because its just a 10-15 minute walk to J. Center Mall. The hotel is just along the highway so its easily accessible however not most taxi Drivers know this place exist as what they are familiar with is the Metro Park Branch in Lahug.||When I try to book in advance for my 4 days stay, I was shock to know that some of the cheaper rate rooms are not available for reservation as they only accept walk in customers. Its a bit of an odd policy since most hotels I stayed before would want an advance booking.||When I arrived at the hotel, I discovered you need to pass by a narrow dark alley towards the entrance lobby, I believe most of the areas in the building are still under construction so you need to take extra caution when you have allergic rhinitis because its really dusty at times.||The staff are not really much warm and accommodating upon check-in. The Economy rooms which they are heavily advertising are all fully booked so I have to go with the Standard room even if I am only staying solo.||When I entered the room, Its pretty much spacious however its kinda awkward since the ample space makes you feel like that the room lacks enough furniture. The main concern i have though is the poor lighting inside the room. Its really an eye strain if you prefer to read inside the room and for me its a huge drawback since I'm staying in Cebu to review for my exam. The small window is facing an outside wall so you really have no clear view except the unpainted hollow blocks.Additionally, their hot and cold shower is not functioning. I also noticed there are many mosquitoes inside the room. The floors are slightly dusty seemingly not well maintained or has not been used for a long period of time and there is also a musty scent inside the room. Their in house breakfast is nothing special.||The only pro is the Fast and Reliable internet speed otherwise you do not really get what...
Read moreIt's very near J Center Mall and jeepneys pass in front of it going to Ayala Mall or SM seaside. The location is great. But there's not much to do in the hotel except for the coffee shop it has on the ground floor.
The room is quite gloomy. Their TV has only 12-15 channels most of them channels I'm not familiar with and the good ones has bad reception. No refrigerator. The housekeeping knocked one time said they'll be cleaning the room while I was resting there. Kind of awkward. I don't speak cebuano so I kind of just agreed and...
Read moreStayed here for a night for transiting, the hotel room is big with a lot of pros at this price bracket: 24-h security at the front door, 24-h reception (good for late check-ins), proximity to the airport and 7-11. However, some downs are also worth considering if staying for an extended period of time: strictly only 1 key was issued although we had 2 occupants, air-con was loud, water pressure was on the low side. Overall, still acceptable seeing that the room was quite clean and the...
