KFC — Restaurant in Mandaue

Had lunch here on August 8. Our order took more than 30 minutes that we had to switch to "take out" instead. Before we were served, some other customers complained about their order of a bucket of chicken smelling bad, but they did not replace the chicken, angering the customer, who's now complaining loudly that the customers at the kiosk could hear. The crew then closed the drive thru entrance because of the backlog of orders. Meanwhile customers are already waiting at the claim area for their food, no cashier was present to take payments from those who came from the kiosk.

We walked out after a last minute complaint where we asked for the lacking regular coke in our order, and we were off. The food was ok thankfully when we ate it in our car.

Overall, one of the most poorly managed KFC branch I've ever been to. I've been here several times in the past, but to be fair, this was the only time where the crew were absolutely lost on how to handle irate customers and a backlog of orders. Food was delivered while it was still hot, no complaints on the food. My concern is only on the packaging, they still use styrofoam for the food. A lot of food fast chains had already switched to more environment friendly food packs, they should consider it. Update (August 2024): Most of the time, this store would send out good food but on my last order in Foodpanda, they sent out a sisig meal that was already cold with 50% of the rice that was undercooked. For this kind of restaurant food chain, this was actually quite surprising that they could not consistently send out good food. I ordered a meal worth P235 which comes with 1 chicken, 1 rice, 1 fun shots, 1 gravy, 1 mashed potato, 1 soup and an ice tea. I waited for 15 mins and need to ask the staff where my order is to find out they forgot or I don't know overlooked for it maybe. I requested for a spicy chicken and since it is a take out order, I did not know that the manager who prepared my order gave me an original leg part which I clearly told the staff I need a spicy and not leg part chicken.
