Braddex Mandaue — Restaurant in Mandaue

This time I ordered Steamed Rice, Batchoy, Siopao, Siomai, Sweet and Sour Pork, Chicken Rice, Empress Roll, and Bacon Roll. It was my first time trying delivery from this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience.

First, the bag was soaked with noodle soup, and several of the items were wet as a result. The Siopao was especially disappointing — the dough had turned brownish, and both the smell and taste were very strange, almost as if it had gone bad. After just one or two bites, I couldn’t continue eating it.

The Empress Roll and Bacon Roll were shockingly small. The size was far below my expectations, and I was honestly stunned when I opened the box. The taste itself was fine, not bad, but nothing special.

The Sweet and Sour Pork was overwhelming. The sourness was far too strong, overpowering the sweetness, making it more like “less Sweet and very Strong Sour.” Personally, I didn’t enjoy it at all.

The Siomai was also quite small. The flavor was average, but while eating, I suddenly noticed a hard, unpleasant texture — it turned out to be egg shell inside the filling.

The Steamed Rice and Chicken Rice tasted average, though the Chicken Rice looked very different from the photo. It was just a small piece of chicken placed on top of plain rice. The Batchoy also didn’t match the picture, and the flavor was nothing special.

Overall, I won’t be ordering again. Most dishes were either disappointing in flavor, size, or presentation. Still, it was a good...

I love their dim sum, steamed rice, and siomai. The dim sum is so flavorful and juicy, it literally melts in your mouth. The steamed rice is cooked to perfection and the siomai just goes perfectly with their chili garlic sauce. I could eat here every day!
