A Heroes' welcome and treatment for New Heroes like us OFWs in Heroes Hotel

Sabi nila (according to them), we Philippine Overseas Foreign Workers (OFS) are the country's modern-day economic heroes. Kaya dapat (therefore), we OFWs must be honored and treated not necessarily lavishly but fittingly when we set foot in the country. And this is exactly what we got during our entire week-long stay in Heroes Hotel. From the very warm reception accorded to us by the guy at the helm, my personal choice for Manila's Entrepreneur of the Year, Mr Mannie de la Serna who welcomed us at Ninoy Aquino International Airport; to the very supportive and caring staff, which includes his lovely wife Len, sweet smiling front desk personnel Pearl, Zaine, Tin and their hardworking crew Roel, Nico and many others such as Ms Rizza, who made our stay in this hotel memorable and very satisfied. Breakfast was even free given the rate per night was already very modest; the beddings were immaculately clean every day; the small details inside the hotel were meticulously thought of. We were impressed with the prominent displays of our national and modern-day heroes in strategic locations in the hotel coupled with the presentation of our favorite marvel heroes (what a brilliant theme for a hotel!), giving us some kind of energy booster, a motivation, an entertainment as well and a reminder that each one of us is a hero in our own way. Overall, the ambiance is set for your perfect stay in the Philippines. Heroes’ hotel is not only for OFWs but as well as for Balikbayans, Foreign or Local tourists who want to enjoy their stay in Manila to max. Thank you to Heroes Hotel. Cheers. Chuck...

Hands down, the Best Hotel I’ve stayed at, out of 5 Countries in Southeast Asia 😊Whether you’re in Town for a bit, or just stopping in for a layover, I highly recommend booking this Hotel. It’s a one stop shop, with a reasonably priced Restaurant & Bar on the Rooftop & right next Door is a 711. It’s a safe area & even has local Police stationed in the area. The Hotel has a collector theme, with cool collector items placed throughout the facilities. Sports fans, Comic fans, collector memorabilia of all kinds can be viewed. My room was perfect, new, pristine & clean. Super comfy bed & plenty of pillows. The showers were extra hot & the Aircon was ice cold. Despite being by a Highway, my room was super quiet 😊 Staff was 5 Star for sure! The rooftop Restaurant? Wow! I stayed for one week, & I ate there daily. Everything I tried on the menu was exceptional & very well priced, large portions as well. The Rooftop Bar was a bonus, great Bartenders & prices. Cool & clean sparkling Pool, hot tub, Sauna, Gym, & Game Room. I had a better overall experience here than I did at the Hilton in Manila. The TV has every possible APP you need for TV viewing ❤️ Thank you Heroes Hotel for such a great experience!

Great hotel with super friendly staff. I have one of the best rooms so they aren't all as nice as this. Only downside is the occasional loud music. Not sure if that's another guest or from the bar above. I would certainly come here again. New Edit: After writing the review above, I did find the noise quite disturbing at times. I was on the seventh floor (R701) directly below the rooftop bar. You could plainly hear kitchen noises late at night and early morning. This is very unfortunate for this standard of room. After returning to the hotel after a multi-day trip to Laguna, I spent a night in room 703. This room has a horrible smell. I suspect the aircon is the source. You get used to it, but it is very off putting when you walk in. For the rest it is a nice room. Despite these negative points, it is still a good hotel and I would stay there again.
