If You Enjoy Being Disrespected by Power-Tripping Guards, This Place Is for You Let me say this loud and clear: the guards at Vista Taft need a serious reality check. Itโs one thing to do your jobโitโs another to do it with a rotten attitude, a power trip, and a complete lack of basic human decency. These people act like theyโre guarding a national treasury, not a student condo. You ask a question politely? You get an eye-roll, a grunt, or worseโa barked-out response like youโre beneath them. Some even talk over you, raise their voices, or act like asking for assistance is a personal offense. Sorry, but last I checked, being assigned to the entrance doesnโt give you the license to act like a dictator. And donโt get me started on how they treat visitors. Condescending. Rude. Suspicious by default. Youโd think they were trained to assume everyone is a criminal first, human second. I get that rules exist. But you can enforce rules without being arrogant and rude. You can have discipline without turning the place into a mini military camp with zero warmth or respect. If Vista Taft prides itself on service and security, then this is a joke. To the management: Your guards are the first people residents and guests interact with. If theyโre untrained, unprofessional, and unkind, guess what that says about the rest of your operations? Fix this. Because people are starting to noticeโand weโre done...
ย ย ย Read moreRoom was clean, good shower, comfortable beds, overall great value.
WiFi is so slow it's not worth using, it was a struggle to simply browse online, let alone stream anything.
The main problem with the rooms are that they tend to be on the higher floors 30+ and the lifts are incredibly slow and at least one of the lifts will be out of service. This means it can take 10+ minutes to leave the building or 10-15 minutes to enter (there are frequently long queues to enter the lift) which is ridiculous. You're not allowed to use the stairs so the only option is the long wait for the lifts.
Check in is also incredibly slow, I've checked in twice and both times I was waiting 15+ mins for someone from zen rooms.
Note that you also have to pay a 2000PHP deposit on arrival, this is returned on checkout but its annoying if you don't have much cash and you're not expecting this additional fee.
The swimming pool is often out of service so don't book the room based...
ย ย ย Read morethis place is a prison rather than a condominium. They have visiting hours and it is up to 6PM only plus you must email the admin office to request permission to overnight or else you will receive a fee in the morning. I experienced having my mother overnight and she was treated as if a trespasser by the staff and we were told that we should've filed an overnight even though she was my mother. Not only this, the one filing the overnight MUST be the OWNER of the unit, not the tenant. Can you imagine this hassle whenever I would have my friends overnight? Gym amenity also has a max capacity of only 5 people per session and must be reserved the day before. Security is also strict as heck, they would literally ask you most of the time you come in or out. Elevators are usually jam-packed as well that lines reach outside the condominium. Just look for another condo if you want to have a comfortable life as a student in Taft....
