Pretty good condo especially for the area. I remember when I first came to Malate, I ended up getting a place at Vista. TERRIBLE decision. The place was infested with roaches. I left the same day and got a place here.
I’ve been here for a year and a half so far, the guards, admin, and front desk are super friendly and helpful.
Complaints:
Often times the Alfamart in the front gets flooded with homeless people. Being a foreigner here it kind of sucks because they always expect money out of me. I wish more was done to handle that in particular, sometimes I just avoid going there completely. No one wants to walk out of their home and be pestered for money.
The general area outside is filthy. I don’t know why people are okay with living like that and throwing trash all over the street but if you’re planning on moving here and expecting a good area, lower your expectations. Often times you’ll see homeless people going through a crisis and losing it mentally. One even tried to attack me with a shoe.
Can’t blame the building for that so that doesn’t impact my review. It’s just a heads up.
Lately, there’s been a subtle infestation of cockroaches. I’ve been able to keep them out of my unit by keeping it clean, using repellent, and blocking the bottom of my door.
As far as others go? I walk down my hallway and see them run under peoples doors…
I’ve only had 3 in my unit the entire time I’ve been here. And it’s all been in the last month. VERY good compared to Vista and it seems to be slowing down a bit.
Overall:
Great people working here, they’re attentive, the amenities are nice, and you get greeted every morning. It’s very secure, requiring RFID to get to your condo.
If it wasn’t for the surrounding area, I would be staying here longer. But due to that I will be moving when my...
