Stayed here 2 nights . On the first night within an hour i so of arrival last charging my plugs i had a short circuit and the room had a smoky smell and i found that my usb and world adaptor plug had been blown. I changed rooms. I spent about an hour speaking to reception and also ringing agoda in the philippines to resolve this issue. I had some reimbursement from agoda but the hotel manager could not offer more than a complimentary meal which was less the value of the damage done to my world adaptor and two phone usb chargers. Staff had been helpful in liaising for me with the manager however i had not been able to resolve issues regarding damage to my electrical belongings. A staff member lent me the office charger there so I could charge my phone as i was now without charger and plugs . The hotel was not bothered about the damage caused to myself and the inconvenience on day one of my trip. I received the complimentary meal the next day and staff have been helpful in my enquiries regarding manila. I however i would not recommend stay at this hotel. I was also not informed about their was no hot water during my stay. Staff had provided me a bucket of hot water after i requested it however this was inconvenient when thinking of the beginning of my holiday inn the philippines. I would not recommend any stay at this hotel as the manager apart from your money is not bothered about the quality of your stay. It's also not close to makati business centre and is in desolate area that...
Read moreOur expectations on this trip was to find a suitable place to stay so that we could visit our family in the Philippines. The Alejandra Hotel has the most friendly and willing to help staff you could ever want. The rooms were clean and equipped with a comfortable bed and accommodations our belongings. We felt very safe and welcomed during our stay. They also offer the option to have breakfast every morning in one of their two restaurants. In addition, it was quite nice to have one of those restaurants open 24 hours 7 days a week open. The hotel is also located adjacent to a street that has multiple eateries for you to choose from. They are also in walking distance (less than a mile) from a shopping mall that has both restaurants and a grocery store. WiFi is available and sufficient enough to text amd email but I am not sure it would be able to manage live streaming although I did not try it. Although they are located near a busy street, inside the hotel it is very quiet. We would have no hesitations in staying at the Alejandra on our next trip to the...
Read moreI booked a 4 night stay via Agoda. I did not bring any cards with me and I'm glad they were able to accommodate my e-wallet payment. Staffs are courteous, polite and accomodating. Check in was hassle free. The room (Grand Suite), was spacious and clean, with a king bed all to myself. Not spotless clean but clean enough. I checked every corner and not a single ant in sight. Food was so-so. After 2 meals, I decided to just order food via GrabFood. Staffs are nice enough to bring it to my room, everytime. The only "ugly thing" about the hotel was the noise. My room was facing the busy street and you can hear all the noise coming from vehicles. You can also hear the noise from the hallway and even from the room upstairs. It's unfortunate for me because the only reason I was there is to treat myself for some quiet "me time". Sadly, I was not able to achieve it. I'd still recommend the hotel, just don't get the rooms facing the streets if you want to have a good rest. I only gave it a 3 star rating because that's how I feel...
