RedDoorz @ University Belt Manila — Hotel in Manila

I was coming home from a business trip in Thailand, and my domestic connecting flight is scheduled in the afternoon the next day. I booked the hotel thru Agoda since this has the lowest offer.

Arrived at the hotel past midnight and the staff were polite. However, I was booked at a room in the 5th floor and the hotel has no elevators. Imagine, I have to bring all my luggages from tbe ground to the fifth floor via the stairs.

Room was pretty small. To get to the bed, you have to squeeze in between the table and the wall. AC also needs cleaning, it’s already blowing a warm air. TV is placed in a corner blocked by the cabinet. So when you lie down, you can’t see it.

The door knob of the CR is also not working. Got almost locked up inside and worse the no waters coming out from the shower, so I have to use the pail.

The place was located along Loyola St, parallel to the main thoroughfare of Espana Blvd bustling with convenience stores, diners, and restaurants. It's very accessible to everything including public transportation. A 7-eleven and a Ministop are located nearby.

Rooms were a bit old and basic but was really clean including the bath. There was a TV mounted on the wall, multiple cabinets to store your stuff, comfortable beds with duvet and sufficient pillows, and reliably FAST WiFi. Towels were provided upon check-in. Hot shower was amazing. Airconditioning was excellent (I actually overslept because it was comfortably cold)

If there's anything that I would modify in the room where I stayed, I'd probably add a night light/lamp shade to be kept on while asleep. Walls need repainting as well. But overall, I had a great stay considering the price. Four...

booked this accommodation thru reddoorz so toiletries with reddoorz name on it was provided. they also accept long term stay. accommodating staff. available public transport to select destination and fast food and other carenderia just a few minutes walk. room is clean and spacious but it gives me the thought that the bedsheets were not changed since i saw a trace of hair left on the sheet. the bed cushion/mattress is somewhat sagged already and the AC unit needs to be cleaned as it has accumulated dust. we did not stay overnight since i made a booking mistake, and just checked to while away time while waiting for our room in another hotel to be available. it wasn’t what i expected for a place that carry a red doorz sign. i thought i’ve had a good deal since the price offered was low. good for those who really are...
