i arrived 28.aug.2018 here. day times handsome security and reception are very kindly.restaurant staff also.but... night shift's Young Shaved security is too bad attitude. While I was smoking, I was treated like a criminal just by leaving a little from the smoking area at the entrance. I wish he would tell me normal. but He said me like a stray dog. and He was a rude manner by wielding the baton every time.I also felt great anger in his rude behavior.if im this hotel's manager, I will dismiss him at once. Then, I should have a smarter smoking area and I felt that I should educate security how to hospitality.

On the beach side the seller goes around and occasionally comes in, but no one will pay attention to them.i talked sellers, they said me"if there isnt hotels orner,we can come inside"haha. They spoke to me all the time, so I could not relax honestly. that mean is "securities staff doesn't work"

if u go angeles hotel from here,u can buy swagman's fly the bus ticket in reception.and they can reserve it kindly.so u can go angeles "from blue rock reception to angeles's ur booking hotel's reception only 500peso". However, the highway is bad road, so we need to endure about 1 hour 15 minutes. The driver drives quite rough,so cant sleep.

restaurant food price is expensive more than taste. It was a rumor that it was delicious, but the taste at the Philippine level.but if u come here i recommend Kare-kare ,Kare-kare was so so good.pasta is too soft.i dont recommend it.Pasta is worth less than half price.it.almost Philippines restaurant dont know al dente.they usually listen to the cooked steak(rare midium well-done),but how not why hear the pasta boiled acceleration, I think. anyway. there are mosquitoes at night time in restaurant.

There is no food here of staff, they usually eat in counter bar after buy outside karenderia. They can not react to the customer while eating at the counter bar. But please do not get angry. It is easier for you to think that they are such creatures. Since they were born they have not received a decent education. so i thought ,manager should make a break room. And even if staff's pay for it small money, manager should make sure to evaluate the taste by serving the dish.if manager do it,He can kill two birds with one stone.(restaurant taste will gradually delicious more, customer will comfortable more).Staff are also human beings. So please let me work happily. Customers want to see that smile also. but they get too comfortable when foreigner are kind to them.so control is difficult.

I hoped for this hotel, but it will not come next. The floating bar is from November, it is not in the rainy season, so it is the best when you stay.and u should stay deluxe sea view room if u like see and wanna comfortable.

If the service level goes up, this hotel will be better. i know that It is very difficult to teach people in this country about hospitality cheer up manager and orner.

They has charged me for water 40pesos fee i did not drink when I checked out.thanks good hospitality. I will never come here...

DO NOT RECOMMEND! We were told this used to be the place to be about 20 years ago...key words...used to be! Let me tell you, these rooms are filthy, run down, moldy, sheets are so thin you can see through them and stained up. Pillows are disgusting, used a t-shirt to cover the pillow just to feel comfortable enough to sleep, and never slept in the sheets.. My shower barely trickled; I had to use a water bottle to hold the shower head out far enough to get water on my head. Some days, we didn't even have water. It didn't have any handles. It was moldy, so we had to buy bleach to clean the mold. I had to request to get a towel. You get 2 bars of soap the size of a quarter. Asked for bags for garbage, and they gave me 3 all with holes in them, so it must have already been used. The whole place looks like it will be collapsing soon. Food: half or more than half the time they don't have what is on the menu, barely have enough menus, portions were good but the food was subpar, make the walk to other resorts it will be worth it. Service: What service?!? That was so horrible. All the waitresses there somedays 5 people or more, yet they rarely acknowledge people. Saw multiple times a day people would sit and then get up and leave. (They are the smart ones) Most days, they all sat at the bar on their phones. You have to wave them down to get their attention because they never check on people. Sometimes, when I ordered, they just never brought it, or I had to ask where it was, and they would say, "Oh, we don't have that or we were waiting on a bun. I told them good courtesy would be to let people know when there is going to be a wait, but it didn't change their ways. But my God, when you flagged them down to get "billed out," they stood over you like a hawk waiting for the money. And then half the time, they would come back and ask if you had this or that peso because they didn't have change. Pool: was green almost the whole time we were there. If I would not have been there with other family I would have left and found a better facility to stay at. Mangos, Papagayos, Treasure Island, The Lagoon, etc. Best thing about this place besides looking out over the water was leaving. 19 days of...

Rooms are okay, I did not book a sea view or pool side etc, but the bed (queen size) was like sleeping on a metal grid covered in a sheet (room 6) I booked two rooms as I was holidaying with family, two kids, my wife and her father. The second room, (room 7) had a much more comfortable bed, I believe this bed had a mattress? Who knows. The showers had warm water, the tap in the bathroom was broken and clearly had been for a while, which is not inconvenient but still a little displeasing. There is no soap, toiletries such as tooth brush, shampoo, or toothpaste in the rooms, you will need to bring your own. Or pay the ridiculous prices for the one on display for sale in the room. The towel I used at first had an ugly stain on it which made me feel a little ill. I paid extra for a second bed for one of the rooms which was 365 pesos for a foam mattress, I had to remind staff at midnight that I had requested this as it was still not in the room, regardless of the fact that when I booked the room I made sure to request a room with two beds prior, an uneccessary expense which frustrated me slightly. The pool and beach located at the rear of the "resort" are nice, nothing to complain about, but nothing to write home about either. My biggest issue with this resort is the restaurant, for two days, I paid 12k pesos to feed 5 people. There was a few beverages in there, but it's not like anyone got happy from drinking. The menu has a good variety, the meals were good also, but again nothing memorable except the bill. There is a "floating" bar that you can get to from the rear of the restaurant, but it is basically a long table with chairs with a few lights, I didn't bother making the effort to climb aboard the raft to head out there as it didn't look the slightest bit inviting. With some general maintenance, some good amenities and a menu price reduction it would have been worth the money I spent, but I don't plan to go back here again. One positive note, the mango shake and buku shakes were exceptional, very tastey, large and included a scoop of mango iced cream and a a wedge of mango,...

Been going to subic bay area for breaks once or twice a year for 20 years with blue rock been going there 5 times already one of our favorite places Unfortunately the place is starting to look downgraded needs renovations repairs here and there Nice beach area clean everyday but walk wondering from blue rock there's lots of rubbish about along the beach next to other resorts There is a small swimming pool but deep not so good for little kids unless supervised by adults having safety vest there's also small changing rooms with toilet next to pool Having large bar and dinning area lots of tables even afew Kubos next to beach area there's banana boat and other water activity's on the beach side Polite accommodating staff having large menu choices but exspencive but having large portions so worth it Even though looking old the place still has its charm great for family's couples or solo Rooms available looking at the beach and also inside Wich are cheaper price Recommend one of better places around there 👍👍👍 Also having atm if getting short of money Small parking at front entrance and there's live music too at night

Despite being advertised as 'family friendly' on their website, this is the type of hotel that rents rooms by the hour. The residents there are all older western men with their Filipino 'partners'. The rooms all come complete with mirrors on the ceiling and also surrounding the bed (use your imagination why). There are times in the day where the shower and the taps do not produce any water which is annoying when you want a shower/brush teeth/clean hands, etc. You can't step onto the beach without being solicited by people selling things or offering other 'services'. They offer there own pool but it's more of a foot bath than anything. However, they have an extensive menu with every food you can think of and they never ran out of anything while we were there. The beach is OK - very clear but not the cleanest beach I've ever seen. The surrounding resort is just as sleazy as this hotel. However, people are amazingly friendly (but then again, I am a white European - in this area it pays to be polite I guess. JUst my opinion
