V.M Beach Resort — Hotel in Puerto Galera

We went on a trip to Puerto Galera from June 3-5. We decided not to book a reservation from any of the hotels and resorts at White Beach since it wasn't peak season. As soon as the 8 of us arrived, 2 of us walked around in search of a decent place to stay in. We decided to stay here since it was very close to the beach and they had a beachfront resto where we could eat our packed lunch. ||The room was nothing fancy but it looked clean. They had cable TV. The bathroom was okay, but the flow of the water coming from the faucets and shower was too freakin weak. It was just little over a trickle, it seemed. And on our last day, the toilet got clogged!!!!! ||The beds were okay as well. We had to ask for an extra mattress, pillows, and blankets to accommodate everyone in our party. The guy who brought in the extra mattress just laid it in the floor. The worst part was that the mattress had BLOOD STAINS!!!! We get that females bleed monthly, but the management of the resort could have had IT CLEANED UP BEFORE LETTING OTHER PEOPLE USE IT! IT'S EXTREMELY UNHYGIENIC!||The A/C was great! What wasn't was the paper thin blankets! Also, we told the front desk how many we were yet when we arrived at the room, there were only 2 towels! We had to ask for more which took quite some time! ||So in conclusion, the only pros of our stay at VM beach resort was the cable tv and the aircon. The wire for hanging clothes in front of every rooms was great, too. We were able to dry clothes overnight. But all in all, we're not coming back here unless it's the only one that has a vacancy in the entire White...

We booked the room through on online site. All details were given as it was a family trip. But the room was not available when we reached as it was not immediately showing in their record. We understand that some still want to stick with the manual recording but it would be nice if on a daily basis it gets updated. The room they give to us was fine but they didn't place any toiletries or towels. The only good part was the lady who had assisted was nice enough through the process. The person who have handed us the towel which we had to remind them was giving us one towel only. The room we have booked was for 4 people as there were 4 of us. That is why even before he left I told him to just give me two. But the location was very good.||They mentioned that they have wifi in specific area but regrettably, I was not able to connect. When I asked the lady from the cafeteria she said that I just have to retry connecting because it happens when a lot of people are connected.||Also, there are mosquitoes inside the room considering that the door was closed at all time. My son woke the second day with mosquito bites on his arm.||I will surely check the other places nearby on...

I booked this on Agoda for 1200 php, or $24. It was a simple room. Not a resort. It is located right on White Beach and you can hear the waves at night from your room. I was on the third floor, V8, and was the second room in from the beach. There was a big balcony at the end of the hallway that looked over White Beach. There were a lot of problems with the room. It needed new paint, there were a lot of wall cracks, there was no sink/shower water from 8 -8:30 PM. When there was water, there was very low water pressure. It did have a hot water heater and AC. The AC was nice and cool. The sink faucet handle was broken. There was a deodorant package left in the room from the previous guest. I'm not sure how through the cleaning job was. There were two big beds and they were comfortable. You have to request towels and toilet paper. The CRT TV was from 2006. It had cable but it was not in HD. No wifi in room. The plastic chairs were dirty. No soap or shampoo. Would I stay here again? Probably. It has a cheaper price for other places right on the beach. Please see my pictures to see...
