White Beach — Attraction in Puerto Galera

You need a QRCode to enter given by the place you're going to stay at. Environmental fee is now 170php but you will still see trash in the water and on the beach same when we were paying 25php before, Over-priced food. More expensive than in Boracay and these restaurants are not even the branded/commercialized restaunts. You will not find a rice meal that's less than 150php not like before, transportation are triple when they see foreigners better ask locals first the regular price (35php/person) for taking a tricycle and not the special trips. You can't relax that much you have to avoid vendors every 5 steps and people asking all the time if we want a boat ride, jet ski, parasailing, night fishing. They should just put like a kiosk for water activities. Vendors are so many shouting and calling you different names like, "Ma'am massage!","Ma'am hair braid!","Ma'am Tricycle!". It's good that not one of those is my name.😅

Oh and Accommodation for the fan room per day is already 1000php. Not a backpacker friendly place anymore. I miss the shows and the fire dance. And before there where more trees on the beach. The environmental fee must be funds for the new walkway plus cutting down trees.

Can't relax with my book for more than 5 minutes on the beach without people...

White beach puerto galera is one of the best escapes here in the south, for the past 12 years i have visited this place and i must say how fast commeriaclization has been for this place. Even though they have commercialized indiscriminately, they have maintained cleanliness and being eco friendly, they have restructured their seaports and landport transportation in order to prevent damage from the beach front, which have been recently done. There are alloy of activities to choose from. From swimming paragliding island hopping jetski bananaboat ufo parasailing, nightlife and so much to do that 3 days is not enough, so i suggest if time permits atleast stay as long as a week. Or if money permits. There are so many places and resorts to choose from. But personally i have stayed at one which is the bangera inn hotel with an overlooking of the beach front and clean ammenities. You have acces to almost all the places as just go along the back and the terminals are there. For food youd have a problem from choosing where to dine as there are numerous goodserving restaurants here at an affordable price. So if you want that sweet escape heres the place to be, you wont have to spend much to enjoy and relax. Getting here is also no problem as from the batangas pier its just a 40min...

Nice experience overall, we rode a boat economy class before coming here and that's somehow a good experience, being able to explore inside the ship. As for the beach itself, the water is really clear and clean white sand, not that super white though. I found a jelly fish too floating near the shore, it might be a sign that the beach water is really clean and still pure. If you've been to white sand beaches before, this could really impress and amaze you. My experience so far was good, lots of food establishments to choose, from bars to smoothies and other drinks serving vendors, variety of chinese, korean, filipino food and other cuisines. Fire dancers, singers and and other exhibitors/entertainers like divas performing at night time. At day time, many interesting services are being offered like transparent boat-kayaking (which is a trend recently), banana boat ride, island hoppings, jetskis, and the giant parachute thing being dragged by a high speed boat which didnt know yet, which are really fun and great for first timers like me. They said these things are also offered on Boracay beach. Keep it up...
