We visited Cafe Marco because it showed as 24 hrs open on Google, but when we arrived there was no sign at the entrance indicating their actual closing time. This is misleading for first-time customers who rely on Google listings.
Upon entering, we were greeted politely, which was a good start. However, when it came to taking our order, the staff asked me to repeat my order around five times — this showed a lack of attentiveness and made the ordering process frustrating.
Their coffee and cakes are quite overpriced, and to be honest, the taste didn’t feel special enough to justify the price point. I understand that being near the beach may affect the pricing, but quality should also match the cost.
The real issue came later: around 8:26 PM, one staff approached our table (quite rudely) to tell us they were closing, even though there were about four tables still occupied. What’s disappointing is that kami lang ang sinabihan, which felt very unprofessional and unfair. We ended up leaving right away.
Lastly, and most concerning, is that they do not issue an official receipt. Instead, they only presented a handwritten list of our orders. This raises serious concerns about proper business practices and transparency.
Recommendation for management: • Please update your Google operating hours and post a clear sign on your door so customers know when you actually close. • Improve staff training on attentiveness and professionalism to avoid singling out guests and making them feel unwelcome. • Most importantly, comply with proper receipt issuance — this is not just good customer service, it’s also a legal requirement.
Overall, while the location is convenient, the service, pricing, and questionable billing practices really overshadowed everything. If these issues are addressed, Cafe Marco could become a better option for both...

We ordered at 9pm waited til 9:49pm and then I followed up the service was bad she just walked away and did not say a thing , I asked again and they said theres a lot of ordered , I explained to them I order the same time and the group was already gone and had their dinner. The girl and the guy does not seem to enjoy their job, was rushing when serving food without explaining which is which. However, my experience at this cafe was disappointing due to their poor service. Although they took my order promptly, serving was incredibly slow. It took almost an hour for them to serve my coffee.
