As we arrived and tried to wash our hands, the tap of the bathroom was clogged. We told the staff and suddenly also the water wasn't running, but not just in our room, apparently in more rooms because they offered other room and it had the same problem. They told us the water should be back in 15minutes, but we read other comments and saw that this is a problem that
aparently happens once and again, so it doesn't look like they are solving it.
So we decided to stay in the same room but asked them to at least clean the clogged part while we were out.
And after the afternoon out, we came back and the air conditioner wasn't working either... It would be super weak and not cold at all. We were sweating. So finally the changed us to another room which had a proper air conditioner and was lightly bigger.

When we finally went to sleep the pillow smelled bad, and was disgusting, it didn't feel like it was clean.
So it was one problem after another, everything the are offering and you are paying for in the room is not working or is dirty.
Also the first and second room they offered us had windows but they are looking to the Inner hallway so the is no natural ligth and the courtains of course stay put.

No complimentary coffee in the room, you get hot water outside (there's a very rustic lounge area) the hallway instead. Just buy your own instant coffee.
But to be fair, not everything's a flop. The staff were very friendly and accommodates our questions and some requests promptly. Location is also on a relatively quiet neighborhood. Lots of tricycles passing by during daytime so no problem with transport.
For an early morning flight like ours, Let the receptionist know beforehand and they will arrange your airport transfer via trike with affordable price (around 200 pesos I think)
Again, if you're okay with a few quirks and just need a place to sleep, It's...
Read moreLocation was brilliant, tricycles were always available at the door and the staff were SO helpful in advising us on how to get to where we were going each day. Water machines to fill your water bottles up each day which saved us money! The one and only downfall was that the window in the bedroom looked out onto the corridor so curtains had to be shut all day and night, there were no lamps in the room either so it was a struggle for 4 days with no natural light at all...
