I went to this Palawan Pawnshop Money Exchanger on the 25th of February 2018 to exchange 500 U$. The lady told me that for 100 dollars I will get 5120 pesos, to which I told her yes I want to change the full 500 dollars. She said to ok sir I need your passport or id card..... I gave her my passport and the 500 dollars, she looked at the dollars very carefully to make sure they not imitation!! She then asked me if I'm from South Africa as my passport is from South Africa. I said yes I am. She then made me wait for very long, she then asked me what work do I do? To which I told her I own a business and condominiums, she then asked me what's my company name, I told her the name, she then has the oddasity to ask me if she can take a photo of me? To which I agreed. Then they made me wait again..... after a few minutes of waiting she tells me she needs proof of what buissiness I do!!! I then got fed up with her and told her to give my passport and money back and I will go to another money exchanger! Both ladies then stood up and said no sir here is your money... I took the pesos and left, This 2 staff has no manners at all and possibly no education whatsoever! Or maybe there salary is very little hence they think that 500 U$ is alot of money, They have no idea what my status is and they were thinking that I'm probably of a very low status. Just for there info, my average monthly income is currently around 18000 U$. Well good luck to them and good luck to there useless job which they probably get about 15000 pesos a month, Anyway to all tourist visiting palawan I will certainly not recommend this store in any way shape or form. Just for the owners of the shops recommendation, I would strongly suggest that you fire those 2 Muppets immediately, Jessa May Gallimba and Angelica Ramos is the two rubbish girls that assisted me,
Thanks Kind...
